Rear Recovery Points - Welded Steel Bar?!

I went through 3 AOR suction cups in 5 off-road drives. they really dont seem to last and just snap at the bolt point for the flag to connect to.,

 

recommend getting a permanent mount point with quick release for the flag unless you are using something extremely lightweight for the flag/pole.

Yea the reviews weren't brilliant to be honest with multiple people stating that the cup would need an adjustment about once per drive, but as a temporary solution while I figure the best mount it should hopefully suffice. 

Edit: Flag that I got has the quick release attachment 👍

Got my mount point here, was 150 installed.

Oh that looks like a pretty good spot, I'll have to consider something like that, though I think my wheel cover is a lot more flimsy.

It's a long piece of steel bolted to spare tyre mount bracket. Just sticks up past the spare/cover for easy access

I think I've seen those around online actually, though for different vehicle models. 

If it's just 150 at a garage then i'll send that picture to my guys and have them install it the next time i'm over there.
