Thomas54675
@ChrisW fantastic write up. Thank you sharing. I have fitted my compressor at the same location (jeep jk 2 door), small compartment in the trunck. The problem i got was overheating and I blow a fuse. Now I always use a small stick to keep it open, during the usage, so it has a better air circulation. 2 1
ChrisW
Hey @Thomas54675 - that’s a nice tidy way to install it! Looks like the compartment in the JK is fairly small, but propping the floor up is a nice easy fix!
Imran Asghar
I'm going to stick mine in my ram box Thought about under the seat as it's cooler etc But I like the idea of the airflow although it's warm outside Plus if I have passengers it will be noisy And the ram box is nice. I currently use the rambox for fish and smelly stuff
ChrisW
So long as it’s somewhere where the air can circulate it’s fine. I’ve found the brushless compressor to be “fussier” than the older one; but that’s the flip side to having higher performance.
