Morning Newbie Desert Drive - Nahel North - Abu Dhabi - 24 Jan 2026

First time with Carnity Off-road Club:

• Please share your vehicle details - Make, Model, Color, and Year.
• Do you have any prior off-road experience? If yes, pls share details.
• Confirm your vehicle has front and rear tow hooks/eyelets.
• Advise if you don’t have a programmable radio and safety flag.

Drive Details

Level:  Newbie and above (all levels)

Meeting time: 7:00 AM (SHARP - Without any exceptions)

Meeting Point: https://maps.app.goo.gl/f8nSRBXb24ryGTvm8

Type of Car: Any proper 4x4 with front and back tow hooks and 8-10 inches of ground clearance.

What to bring along: Loads of water, snacks (for yourself), smiles, enthusiasm and willingness to learn.

Approximate finish time: 11:00 AM

P.S. Only join if you have a compressor to inflate your tires after the drive.

LIMITED SPOTS AVAILABLE:

• This drive is limited to 10 cars only. RSVP will close on Friday - 6 PM.
• If the RSVP is full, you can add your name to the waitlist, once anyone drops, you will be moved to the RSVP list.
• RSVP will close a day prior to preparing a convoy list.
• Latecomers will be returned back - Without any exceptions.
• Members without RSVP will be returned back - Without any exceptions.
• Please withdraw your RSVP, if you aren't joining, so your spot can be taken by others.
• Repeated no-show members after RSVP will have their account suspended for a month.

• check and confirm that your car has front and back towing points
• confirm that you have radio, flag, compressor

For the radio, please have it programmed ahead of the drive with the 10 Carnity channels indicated in the link below.

I will check your car at the meeting point and will accept you only if your car and equipment are compliant. This is for your own safety and the safety of the rest of the convoy.

It appears I only have towing points at the front

Car : Pajero 2014 5 Doors

Previous offroad expérience : none

I have a compressor, flag and radio

Good evening @Yanis BOUGHEZALA, thank you for the feedback.

Unfortunately, we may have situations where we could have to pull the car from the back. Without a proper towing point, it may damage your car, and be at risk for the other car. Please check again or send me picture if you want, but unless you can have a towing point added at the back, I cannot accept you to the drive.

Apologies for the late reply, i have front and rear tow points, along with radio, flag, compressor, deflators.

I have taken a class with Mr Gaurav and did some casual family drives in liwa/badayer.

Please make sure your car is in order for driving in the desert. Weather is cold at this time, and even colder in the early morning. Take warm clothes.

@Bassel, I did not see your confirmation for the above. Please take the time to read and check, to avoid disappointment if I cannot accept you in the morning.

I will issue the convoy order at the end of the afternoon, stay tuned !
