Unable to apply for promotion as page goes to payment page.

Rank promotions at Carnity remain merit-based and unchanged in terms of criteria, evaluation, and approvals.

As part of recent process improvements, promotion applications are now handled through a formal application workflow, which includes a standard administrative fee.

This fee is not for buying a rank and does not influence the outcome in any way. It simply supports the structured processing, review, and follow-up involved in handling individual promotion requests.

Applying for promotion is entirely optional. Members may continue to participate, drive, and contribute to the community regardless of whether they choose to apply.

Thank you for your understanding as we continue to refine processes to support the club’s growth with consist standards.

There should be more transparency and communication regarding any changes to policies and rules From a well organized group like carnity.

Seems strange to be paying to apply for a promotion when it’s subscription based service 😵‍💫, I mean make sense for monthly subscribers but for annual payers, hmmmm.

Have to agree with this…

if it is “contribution organization” and a “pay it forward spirit” it makes 0 sense to pay for a promotion as it’s supposedly to increase the club reputation.

considering the minimal intermediate drives and the lack of clarity. I won’t be  paying single dirham on promotion requests.

i really think this is upsetting more than 1 person and not adhering to the initial principles of the club / community. Administration fee meaning sending 10 WhatsApp’s?
on top of that , not a single recognition / sticker / flag / anything that could potentially support this decision.

im extremely disappointed , what started as a nice journey and ok to pay a subscription , is turning into a SaaS with 0 value added.

i hope the organizer understands this as a positive criticism. All in order to increase the reputation and stop losing fellow off-roaders to other clubs

sincerely

In all fairness and respect to the team i would not mind if the rules or the process were stipulated in a professional manner at the time of subscription or at the time of renewal. It would then give clarity to the member whether to join or renew subscription.
it is not like ikea that you got to pay for each parts individually.
Its 720.00 for subscription which mostly will be used for 4 to 6 months, what is this fee for ?

i joined carnity based on recommendation from friends but is is not the club they once praised about.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts. We understand that changes, especially around optional payments, can raise questions, and we respect the views expressed.

Carnity’s membership subscription provides access to the community, drives, and ongoing activities.Rank promotions are a separate, optional process, requested individually by members who choose to apply, and are not part of the subscription entitlement.

Carnity has always aimed to keep progression accessible and independent, without linking it to vehicle spend or external requirements. As the community grows, certain optional processes are being formalised to ensure consistency and fairness along with sustainability.

We acknowledge that communication around changes can always be improved, and this feedback has been noted as we continue refining how updates are rolled out.

For any member who feels this change no longer aligns with their expectations, our support team is available to assist and process pro-rata subscription refund for remaining months.

Its strong arming the users which i don't agree to it and ethically wrong to enforce rules and regulation without consent when you know the user has no say or choice.

i will pay but very unwillingly. As i have already invested my time and effort here.
