Yes, the cargo barrier is easily removable, it does however provide some protection against objects thats not secured properly in the back, and prevents it from entering the passenger area

really wanna try and sort out an onboard radio but i think i have too much muscle memory reaching the for radio on the lanyard...

That barrier is custom made or some specific brand? I loved it, cause when traveling using huge amount of straps to hold baggage

Kaon is the brand - their aussie made, really good products.
