What engine can we expect for GCC?

- The Nissan Frontier derived VR38DD 3.8 V6 NA?

- The 2.4 Turbodiesel (not likely i guess for Middle East)?

-Outlander-derived 2.4 PHEV?

approx 200 hp in turbo diesel. any word on petrol variants?
Great looking interior.. but where is the spare tyre on the back!?!

I see this more as a bulkier Montero Sport (the rear looks similar). Turbo Diesel won't sell in the GCC, so either it will make a delayed launch or try to plug in the 3.8 (everyone hopes)..

AI gives the VQ38DD a 15 to 20 % chance but expects some kind of hybrid supported 4 cyl turbo as the petrol option. But for now, only the diesel is available. Good engine for overlanding style driving. 

The nissan VQ engine would be awesome for the GCC and already here as the base engine on the current Patrol.
