Bad Smell from vents

Hi I have 2007 model honda accord car.Whem I switch on the AC there is no smell but when The AC if off and only Fan is on then bad smells start comming from the AC vents.I have changed the AC filter even then there is no improvement.Please help me.Thanks

Clean the evaporator too, it may be coming from dirty evap. I hope you are doing this with vent closed right?????

Mr Rashid i would advise you to get your A/C fully washed by a nice and trust worthy garage, Mr Talib is right about the evaporator, when evaporators get dirty they become really smelly when you switch of the A/C and just use the fan, and after sometime even the ac will start smelling if you leave it like this. im telling you to go for a trust worthy garage because once you open up the evaporator for washing, you have a fill it up with new gas after you complete that servicing and now a days finding garages with original gas is getting a bit harder, i got my car ac serviced 3 months ago by one of my relatives garage and he ripped me with a fake gas for 2 months it worked real fine extremely chilling ac and all that but after those 2 months that gas showed its real quality, now i have to spend on gas again.
