ashaikh
Hi, I have changed the tires from the original 245/75R16 to 265/75R16 on the standard steel rims. On road i do not face any problems, however during off road on the sand the tires came off at 13 PSI. Is it due to the broader tire on the same rim? Is there any recommendation where to get good wheels for wrangler.
JeepDxb
Dont worry about anything, it must be recently set wheels and those wax pasting must not be fully dried thats why tire popped. Or some strange coincidence in sharp turn or maneuver made it pop that would have been popped with 245 tire as well. Your increase in size is just 2 cm in width and nothing else, which is perfectly normal so you dont panic and you dont need new wheels. Dont drive offroad for one week so that wax can get fully dried and dont let this happen again and you will be fine.
