Engine overheating

Please discuss upon what to check when the the engine is overheating.

Whenever the engine is overheating, stop the car to check the coolant level in the engine. Open the radiator cap when the engine is cooled down. If the coolant level is full, it means there is either coolant leak or oil leak in your car. Never ignore engine overheating and take your car to the garage for inspecting the common places like water pump, freeze plug and hoses to check the leak and diagnose the same.
