fatstu
Hi all I'm looking to import a Defender from the UK. Car would be brand new but with some modifications. 1 Does anyone have recommendations on good car import specialists who can help with the import? 2 Can anyone help on what modifications are permissible to register over here? Most importantly if the advice is don't even think about it let me know. I can always buy a standard car here and then get the mods done locally Thinking of this http://www.twistedperformance.co.uk/twisted-editions/the-alpine-edition#.URxqFx1vBc0 Any assistance much appreciated... iftekar
For importing car, you can visit aweer car market in ras al khor and you will find many shops who can do this for you. Compare and choose. For importing or not, i think its personal question in what you get from UK than available here. Im sure GCC specs defender will have thermostat and radiator set at this country heat setting. Secondly saw your twisted defender, apart from roof rack, wheels, lights and skid plate cant find anything different in cosmetic. If that's what you aim, then better buy GCC specs here and do all these cosmetic mods from ramy trading or naif market in deira. For registration, these minor mods is perfectly fine unless there is no much sound producing engine mod has been done, which RTA here don't like it. If you getting puma engine inside the engine bay lol, then i would say HELL YESSSSSSS for this import. Good luck.
