where should be the fire extinguisher be installed?

where is the right place to install a fire extinguisher In my car it is installed in the rear trunk which dose not seem logical as it has to be around the driver so in case the driver needs to access in emergency its easier. what do you guys have to say

johnson, what i did was get an additional extinguisher on the rear seat under the front passenger seats its a small one but i can start with it and then i can go and get the bigger one in the rear boot space.

i think its a good idea this way to have two extinguishers.
