anoop
Hey everyone I was wondering if we have refill the coolant system on our own or do we need an expert to do the same? And if we can do it on our own, please discuss how? Thank you
anoop
The best way to refill the coolant is to pour the coolant till the radiator is an inch close to being full. After radioator, pour the coolant in the coolant reservoir to the proper level. After pouring the coolant, start the engine and put off the cap of radiator and coolant reservoir until the coolant circulates in the whole engine while the thermostat opens. If you feel that the coolant level is dropping, continue to pour coolant until its full. After completing the process, you need to recheck the level. For the same, replace the radiator cap and drive for a short distance. After that, shut the engine and check the coolant level again. If its proper, then the process is complete. But if you feel the level went down, add more coolant.
