aftermarket airfilter

i have a 2011 tiida hb purchased last year and am planning to replace the airfilter with a K&N filter. would it void the warranty? i checked with K&N they told me warranty would not be voided but from the service center of nissan they could not answer me directly. thanks

Even if nissan say it wont void warranty, ask them to give u in writing as its a new car and all dealers in this country need a smallest excuse to void the customer warranty.

My suggestion: dont do it K&N.
