sahir
the ignition coil is an important part of the car starting if you have any hesitation of the car then it should be changed.
colorfulme
It's not a wear item per say the coil usually lasts DECADES. but like all parts of the car they may not as well. How will you know if the ignition coil has gone bad If your car is misfiring you can unplug each coil one at a time with the car still running Note if it makes a change. IF this process dose not drop rpm then you have a bad ignition coil. hope this helped solve your problem
