Xterra differential

I believe the Xterra does not have a locking differential. Does this reduce the Xterra's performance off-road?

locking diff is an added feature i dont see it reducing the offroad performance infact it helps.

When you engage 4H it activates the center differential which help distribute 50/50 power to the front and rear wheels. Your might be having electronic rear differential. Its not so useful for us on sand but will be useful if you are going on rocky terrains.
