daniell
4.8 vtec is better than older 4.5 used to come, still fuel consumption best bet is dont race full throttle too much drive at low rpm as much as you can, shift to hi gear faster and plan brakes

muaz1976
just for the record: i got the 2012 brand new Nissan Safari hardtop three doors manual transmission and i test the consumption around the town with 100 AED of special petrol (1.72 AED per liter) and the result was 250 KM. the cost of 1 KM=0.4 AED with the air condition on (Maximum RPM is 3000 and average speed is 60KM to 110KM). is there any one can share with me the result ? am actually shocked because i was thinking of 0.25 AED per 1 KM. muaz1976
when you look around you will hear about following solutions: 1-Magnetic fuel modifier Affects Gas Mileage 2-adding 30 milliliter of acetone to each 20 liters of special gasoline Affects Gas Mileage. 3-changing fuel injectors to a smaller size Affects Gas Mileage. 4-Tire Size Affects Gas Mileage. 5-lowering the vehicle for more aerodynamic Affects gas mileage. mayurs
Patrol is petrol thirsty in any year you buy. Older were more than newer one, as thanks to newer engineering making them slightly more fuel efficient.
