foam coming out of the AC

the AC is working perfectly good except at times there is foam like substance coming out of the AC duct .

what is that ?

how can i clean it?

if i don't will it cause some problem with the AC?

You cant clean it, its an ageing issue you need to to re do the insulation of AC duct from inside and its a long and expensive job. Dont do it if u dont intend to keep car for long. It wont effect AC now, in summer it might effect a little.
