What dose ABS warning mean?

My 2006 Cayman shows ABS warning which is not all the time but sometimes.

yes you should as ABS can be any of your safety feature not working properly.

It can be your seat belts or Air Bag or even brakes. Get the safety check of your car.

ABS has nothing to do with your seat belts and air bags. Seat belts and airbags are SRS systems.

when the ABS warning light is not on, attempt and emergency brake and see if the ABS System Kicks in.

if it does work and after that the warning light comes on, it's usually and ABS sensor that is faulty on one of the wheels, should be an easy fix.
