car wont reverse

why is it that my car wont go in reverse. there seems nothing wrong with the D N 1 and 2 its only the R which is a problem

First things first, check transmission fluid level and condition when car is hot. Al shud be fine and ok. if not fix that first and see if still same problem.

when u shift in reverse, if the engine rpm increases and the car does not move. You probably have an internal transmission problem.

OR else there could be something wrong with your rear end which is not connecting rear.
