Finally, just came across a real good news for car owners in the UAE, that car dealer service is no longer mandatory for retaining their car warranties. Ministry is planning to rate car services provider in 1 - 4 star category and warranty will be retained with top star workshops, which will be certified and fully integrated to the dealer system to honor the car warranty. I remember getting my Porsche Cayenne minor oil change service for 2300 Dhs after 2 week appointment to retain my warranty. On second attempt I found an A Class Porsche specialist in Sharjah who costed me 600 Dhs for same minor service with Mobil 1 fully synthetic oil in less than 2 hours without any prior appointment.

Hi Friends, My 2008 Ford Edge with 139000 km began to show a problem when I press straight down on the accelerator but the Edge would not respond. I tried and change gear but nothing happen. At the same time observed a transmission lagging, dropping, and loud/hard changes while shifting in gear. I called the Ford dealer. They said to switch car off and back again on. After that test out car worked excellent. It began working as if absolutely nothing was wrong. Instantly Again the same has happen yesterday when I was on a road trip where it felt like transmission slipped out of gear and the wrench light came on and off. But this time I also experienced it was in neutral, it wouldn’t accelerate when I pressed the gas. I did the same switch on/off activity and it seemed excellent. I am afraid now about this continuous problem with this car. Guy's please suggest me best garage near Al quos to fix my car soon in affordable prize price. That will be great help.

I have seen in many video (never tried) all the drifters steer the car in opposite direction, as while turning right, they drift car and steer left and vice versa. what is teh logic for this and I am really curious to know?

I have read here few times the reference of leaf spring and in a positive way, so wondering to understand what is the key difference in both and which one is better for desert driving? Appreciate any heads up in choosing next capable off-road ride for weekend activities. Thanks.

Though engine oil has still over 40% life left as per last service kms, but I checked and it's quite dark and no longer in crisp golden color. Do I change oil before the recommended kms interval or should I wait safely for doing more? Appreciate if someone can shed light on how to further diagnose engine oil usable condition and life than only based on kms criteria. Thanks.

I would like to mention a complaint against Ford UAE. i have a 2013 ford Edge dubai. the car is 2 year old and it was misfiring while doing high speed quickly, with the check engine light on. ford uae does not want to cover it on warranty stating that the problem is with the fuel and not with the car. the car only have 66000km on my meter with full service history it should be covered till 100000km or 5 years. please help and find a solution for this. otherwise i will be forced to spread this experience with ford to everyone.

I got my 2012 model Ford Mustang serviced from Al Tayer 2 months back in warranty and after the service is completed, my service adviser advised that the battery might be dying shortly as he has seen some greenish color buildup (may be called corrosion) on the black side battery terminal. Last month my car battery died and that service adviser prophecy came true. Got the new battery changed with slightly more amp as I couldn't get the same amp battery. Today under my office while helping another Mustang to jump start his car I have seen same greenish buildup on the black terminal again. Im curious to understand why this is happening with 1 month old battery or may be something else is wrong with my car electrical system. Any help is highly appreciated. Thanks.

Somebody hit my car from the back and ran away. Now I don't really know what to do. Even if I call police, I don't know who hit my car. This is so annoying.
