  1. Agree with treks, I have never seen multipurpose engine oil doing any good to any one type of engine: Petrol or Diesel.
  2. lol. little "Big Mini". Nice detailing and clever thinking.
  3. eeewww man, how come this guy is so cool after loosing his finger and recording with such great detail.....!
  4. WTH guys, someone has really come up with a solution to this issue.......? I used to think it's impossible to solve this puzzle. +1, very good move and hope to see this happening here too.
  5. Go for Mobil1 Engine Oil and see the major difference in driving and fuel efficiency, I am using since two years in all my cars.
  6. Smart has few more bumper, door, and side fender mods, shows how the owner is a fan of extra detailing and big control with big toy key at the end. I wanna meet this guy man.....! This blower turbo is nice, I am sure someone must have tried the hair dryer and vacuum cleaner as well. lol.
  7. This is indeed good move, I totally agree and always wonder why people become less tolerant unless tied up with some fines news.
  8. I personally feel this will never be allowed. Moreover I feel this will reveal how many inconsiderate and uncivilized drivers drive in here including some big expensive shiny cars with fancy 4 digit number plates. It's the quick rich drivers makes lot of nonsense of tailgating, flashing constantly, cutting 5 rows in less than 1 seconds, jumping the queue. On the other hand biggest guys who drive 2 or 3 digit they drive very humbly and respectfully on second or third lane. How often you have seen civic, accord, altima or camry drivers doing much of non-sense: 1 in 100......!
  9. My suggestion is never stick to one garage and keep flipping these buggers, as I realized that the moment you get comfortable with one garage then after 2-3 time visit he will skin the hell out of you for all the trust he build in first few visit. I have been bitten by 3 diff garage in exactly same way. Drive around al quoz, rashidiya, aweer in dubai and you will see plenty of all range of garage and get the three opinion and pick the honest and cheapest garage. Cost of repairing anything in sharjah will be cheaper by 30% so prefer to go there if you have bulky and many things to attend or else for minor maintenance rashidiya and aweer garage are not bad, al quoz is tad more expensive.
  10. Alexa ranking going down for all offroad clubs.....! Why they are low in such a nice weather and peak off-road season......?
  11. Can you explain if this shudder is from engine hesitation or the wheel based vibration?
  12. In American car it is recommended to change gear oil at 100k miles means 160k km, so if we use that approximation in your case of Mazda then 80K is fine to change even if dealer says it's lifetime. It's a marketing thing....! I highly agree with Danny boi advise to change gear oil and filter asap w/o any delay.
  13. Though engine oil has still over 40% life left as per last service kms, but I checked and it's quite dark and no longer in crisp golden color. Do I change oil before the recommended kms interval or should I wait safely for doing more? Appreciate if someone can shed light on how to further diagnose engine oil usable condition and life than only based on kms criteria. Thanks.
  14. For the curious people please find the Alexa ranking based on traffic, unique visitors, etc.
  15. @mankool, What a great reply man: Honest and absolutely to-the-point. IMHO: Anyone who buy the car and drive it should bear the depreciation whether it's for a month or a year as that's how the market should take it as: you use it, you pay for it. Sadly and unfortunately there is no legally transparent documented sale price and odometer reading here which leave quite a big ambiguity and plus fair people try to inflate the price on dubizzle as a cushion to get the decent selling price while getting sloshed with bargain hunter. In last few years, I have seen private dealer as much as five times than prior to 2010 in UAE. All thanks to online age and easy part-time second source of money generation. Maybe car market is doing bad because of this only as anyone want to buy a car, see's a rocketed inflated price and anyone want to sell the car they see filthy cheap offers and in end no one buy and sell :-(.
  16. Hi Harry, please open the sunrof in daylight and climb on side of the car and check the sunroof rail for visible damage on the sides or edges where rail ends or check for the screwdriver marks on outside the sunroof glass. I am suspecting that when you were on holiday someone might have tried to break into your car by opening the sunroof to gain access that is usually not alarmed. If everything is clean and no visible marks then do the belowsteps. Get the good powerful vaccuum and open the sunroof fully and clean the rail thorougly by sucking the air and then by reversing by throwing the strong air pressure in and around the rail. Here I am assuming the dust or some loose tree leave or twig is blocking in the sunroof rail, that might be preventing it to close it properly. Hope anyof my above two solution help, please red like it my answer. Thanks.
  17. This is a very debatable topic as why so many car brands saying the same and then don't provide the dipstick in the engine bay and doesn't not include the gear-oil change frequency in the maintenance schedule. On the second hand, why so many transmission repair shops now are busier in fixing the transmission than what they use to do 10 years back. Every transmission shop first opening question when you go for tranny problem: When have you last change the gear-oil. According to mechanics, heat build-up inside the gear-box is the main culprit for breaking the gear-box, as old, stale oil has become so thick that It doesn't provide any lubrication properties nor oil cooling properties to the gearbox and overtime gearbox dies. My suggestion is to change the gear oil IMMEDIATELY even at the slightest doubt of gear jerking from 1st to 2nd (that's most noticeable). I ignored same in my Honda Accord in the past and went to shj for fixing with non-original parts for 2500 AED as original part fixing was 6000 dirham and new gearbox was 18000 dirham. Changing gear oil is 200-300 dhs, so better change and be on safe side than not to change. My two cents.
  18. Oh man, thank god finally they realize to change that fish face grill on 2012 - 2015 models. Now they got camel face grill. lol.
  19. To be honest, best is to drive in sharjah BM road and seek few suspension shops with iranian guys, as they have those universal non-branded rubber spacers that works well to raise height to some extent. I used those on my Jeep grand cherokee few years back and I think all 4 costed 200-300 dhs.
  20. Has anyone yet realized that achieving faster 0-100 is relatively easier with electric motors than petrol engines......! I recently learned this from a friend who is RC enthusiast's and he was sharing and explaining the logic that in electric motor delivery of power is instant like a light bulb, and only lag is the drive-train response to keep the all 4 wheels on the ground. So possibly we can also see the future of race cars can be fully electric....
  21. This def seems an over bitten for a brand like Hyundai, but i'm sure time will tell whose side we are?
  22. Is Chevrolet Camaro counted as a hot wheels....? I am very tempted with the idea, and I might join if it's allowed. Thanks.
  23. Have you tried the satwa market, deira naif road car accessories market. If both have failed for you, go to Sharjah, behind city center there is one road called BM Road or BMW road, try their and I am sure you will get lucky there. Fact of the matter is not many Hyndai owners may be go for such extreme accessories and that's why usual shops dont stock such stuff. Ask for them for universal screen, GPS and spoiler as with little modification and adjustments those can fit nicely without spoiling the looks. I have done that few years back in my old Jeep grand cherokee US made.
  24. This video could have been super hit if all the info shared by a young and sexy girl than an old board of director type guy. That's how things get sold in today's world and Im sorry to see that Audi Media & PR didn't even know that....!
