Thank you all for joining this morning. It was one of these drives where we use our vehicles for what they are designed for: reaching exceptional places, crossing large portions of desert. And driving these vehicles might look easy at first sight, when following an easy track, but passing through this variety of terrain, considering the slopes, the very soft sand, the bushes, the long climbs, the ridges to cross, require definitely some skills. Well done everyone, especially at the back of this long convoy, where the tracks were churned by the previous cars, as we had only a few refusals, and one pull. Thank you @Hisham Masaad for assisting the drivers from the middle of the convoy. Nice dunes with a lot of tree shade, farms spread out on flat areas, an old watch tower, isolated breeding camel mothers with their calf, bigger herds of camels, cows, young calves on a sand slope, sheep, an amazing green sabkha, African savannah, just a sample of what we could discover this morning. and we even found a steep side slope to push our engines ! @Stumpy Paj Nathan, thank you for the 2nd lead, @Joseph Raju, thank you for the seep, both roles perfectly executed, @Hisham Masaad, thanks again for the support, @Sayed Bilal, @Bravoecho, @Bashar Beasha @Frans M @Abdul Basit Khan, @Glenn W @Gary F @Ahmad Nerat, it was nice having you today. Enjoy the rest of the weekend and see you soon. Waiting for your pics in the gallery !5 points

@GauravSoni thank you for really enjoyable drive this morning. Great way to start the weekend off. Great decision to stop and perform the blip blip part of the drive. We did struggle to get some of the team stuck but we did get @Zulfikhar Naiyar well and truly stuck which was a great learning for all. @Benjamin did a fantastic job at second lead keeping us on the correct track. @Chris Wing as usual fantastic support and great job at sweep. The rest of the convoy @Jaro Tuzinsky @Krishna R @Tharun Kumar V @Jona @Bjoern @Gertjan @Beide Worku and @Mohamad Anwer drove really well with only a couple of refusals and stucks including mine 😁 I hope you all learnt as much as I did and had as much fun as possible on a Saturday morning. Have a great rest of your weekend and hope to see you all in the sand again very soon Davie3 points

Dear Desert Drivers, Last checks and updates for tomorrow morning. Meeting 6:30 am at https://goo.gl/maps/cV6h7wBMa7DobRVE9 The convoy order will be We will use radio Channel 4 There is rain tonight in the North of the Emirates, but it looks like it will avoid the area of the drive. @Beide Worku @Santoso Marjuki @Mus_hus78 @Imran Kashif thank you all for signing up. @Mus_hus78 and @Imran Kashif i see you both had joined back to back drive, @Srikumar's drive at sweihan on previous night where the drive will end at mid night and my drive will start early morning at LIWA which is around 3.5 Hrs drive form sweihan to meeting point. Please re-think your decision before joining any of these drives. Terrain like LIWA should be taken seriously and your utmost concentration is required which might fade out quickly if you don't get good sleep prior to drive. Minimum attendees for this drive will be 4. Even one drop out from current attendees will force me to call of this drive. I request everyone to confirm your presence.1 point
