For eg: Am sure next time u have stucks, first thing you will go and check will be the tyre pressure - thanks to learnings frm stucks in ur previous drive:)3 points

Hi Aidan Kennedy here, will be driving a silver 2016 land rover discovery LR4. For off road experience I grew up driving in muddy fields in Ireland. A few months back I did the carnity off road half day course . Tow hooks available. Have deflator, guage, radio and flag. Also have a battery operated Inflator that is basic and slow but can do the job in a push. I have watched the YouTube video. Excited to get out in the sand over the weekend. Aidan2 points

I would love to sign up, but since we have a limit of 1 drive per weekend (as per announcements) and I'm already on Sunday drive - can I somehow add myself to wait list only here and - in case the list is not completed by Saturday/Sunday - join? Edit: I wait listed myself. If you allow for this to be my second drive that weekend, please do add me to the list of participants.2 points

@Gurcharan Mehta should be fine 👍 think its more referring to the drive that Ale did before where we all messed around and had a bit of fun using names from the Long Range Desert Group... can see it here.2 points

Well noted Fred, can't wait for this drive. I am also coming from Abu Dhabi but I got used to wake up at 3 am in the weekend .2 points

@AlexM considering the small convoy so far, which means we can probably pick up some speed along the way, i will move the starting time to 8AM. @Dan S @Alphin Aloor@Ahmed Wagdy@Srikumar please take note of the revised starting time (8AM instead of 7AM).2 points

Thanks @Gaurav for a wonderful drive. Amazing convoy, great route and awesome weather - was just perfect setup for Sunday afternoon. Every one rode brilliantly - we had our fair share of refusals and stucks however considering the terrain and the size of the convoy it was just fantastic outing by all. Kudos to all, especially the first timers. Thanks @DP1011 and @Krishna R for supporting the convoy.2 points

The Short Wheel Base 3.8 Pajero is a fantastic desert toy, @Stumpy Paj and many others rock it on any level, we even have the 5 door models on high level drives. The 3.5 would do fine as well but is slightly more underpowered. Of course there will always be personal preferences, but if I am correct I think the Pajero is in our Top3 of most used 4x4’s here in the club. @Looperran some numbers on that recently.1 point
