On the Cooper AT3, dont go with the new 2024 model. They have changed design and they seem to be much heavier and thus far yet to be tried and tested in the desert.

Don't worry... towards the end of the week we can expect some drop-outs.... 😆

i've go not advice on the tent, but if you planning on putting anything over 40kg mounted up on top of the tub (tents, hard canopies etc) you will need to get and install some J Braces to avoid damage when off-roading, and not voiding the warranty Ford offer some, however Al Tayer / Premier dont seem to be able to order. Best bet is aftermarket from Australia (ARB makes them) or Thailand. Seems crazy this wasnt fitted at the factory.
