Dear Desert Wanders, @Jason M, @Nathan, @Shary, @Dipu Francis, @ArSaLaN, @Kirill K, @karim hamandi, @Steffi, @Neha Jain, @Vijaya Kumar Doppa, @Ishak, @Mark B, @Emanuel, @Imran Asghar, @Abdullah A., @essam ibrahim, @Sam Selim, @Yuryand @Ossama firstly thank you all for being on time and ready for the briefing, this allows us more time to play in the sandpit for our absolute Newbies @Kirill K, @Steffi, @Neha Jain, @Yury and @Oussama, you guys drove amaziningly well even though we encountered a lot of cross tracks which made the going tuff in places. very few refusals and stucks between you all, I really hope that this drive has gotten you as enthused about the desert as we all are at carnity. The journey is just beginning for you all and it is a wonderful journey full of learnings, not just learning your car, but learning new skills, honing your driving style to combat the most difficult of terrains, learning how to self recover with confidence and also learning, a few tips and tricks from a mechanical standpoint as we often have to much in to fix an issue here. As you saw yesterday with the double pop out we suffered at the end of the drive. The rest of the convoy drove just as well making it a pleasure being out in the sand with you guys. Great second lead from @Ishak, appreciate your patients as we dealt with the couple of refusals and stucks we had. My two Center forwards were amazing as always thanks a lot @Mark B and @Emanuel for your continued support and effort during the drive to get the stucks and refusals sorted quickly and professionally. Lastly but certainly not least our sweep @Imran Asghar great to have you in the convoy as always mate, I do enjoy the banter on the radio and great job sweeping and assisting the guys at the back, amazing job mate thanks again. For those that want to relive the experience here is a short video of our trip. https://www.relive.cc/invite?u=5my7j2p5ep55y6&s=activity Have a great rest of your weekend and hope to see you all in the sand again very soon5 points

I can only echo the sentiment - it was such a great first drive - good pace, lots of learnings and meeting like-minded drivers. I really felt comfortable and in a safe space thanks to you @Davie Smooth_Operator and the entire support team @Mark B @Emanuel @Imran Asghar. Thank you all for making these drives happen. I now am eager to see the schedule for next weekend; can’t wait to get out into the sand again.4 points

Dear @Mahesh_, @Cesar Chacon,@khlief,@Zak_,@Ishak,@ChrisW,@Cristian,@Alphin Aloor,@Andrew John Melvill,@Amir Amiri. I hope you all enjoyed the drive and the wonderful company as much as i did. Everyone drove really well although i have pumped it up a little bit over the FB+ at some points to give you a taste of the IM Level . However, we had a couple refusals which is totally normal for this type of drive. But you all did great in keeping the flow going throughout the drive. Unfortunately, today it was exceptionally crowded at some point it felt like waiting in line at Global Village roller-coaster on a weekend evening. and some other points it felt like sheikh Zayed road peak hour, which have made me to skip a couple of dunes to avoid any possible risk. Thanks @Mahesh_ for being a great 2nd lead , @Ishak for the support and @Amir Amiri for keeping an eye on the convoy from the back. @Andrew John Melvill i hope that your car issue just need a simple and easy fix. Looking Forward to see you again soon4 points

Thank you again, @Simon D - that was a really fun drive! You did really well leading us through some fun lines and in-between many other convoys. We had some great flowing elements, and everyone drove in a very safe and effective way. First time in a while I’ve not had my shovel out! @Andrew John Melvill - best of luck with that CEL! I’ve popped a few pictures in the gallery - however I will share here a quick snap of the security camel that watched our exit… Also - some quick stats from the drive…3 points

@Simon D Thanks for an amazing drive, lots of ridge riding and lots of great climbs! Fantastic driving from the entire convoy helped with the flow through the dunes! Nothing more than a few loop arounds for everyone to make it through the drive. Re my MAF sensor issue, got back to Dubai with no further issues. Engine just running a bit rough as expected. Of to the mechnics care tomorrow. @Ishak thanks for lending me your code reader will be in touch to get it back to you, was a relief to check for codes again on getting back and not seeing anything new!2 points

Thanks to @Simon D for organizing another amazing drive and leading us through the dunes with great care and fun. The Badayer area continues to impress me, it’s quickly becoming one of my favorite spots. Everyone drove amazingly well and kept safety a top priority 🫡. Looking forward to see you guys revisiting this area 😉.2 points

A warm welcome to our first and second time drivers with the club: @Kirill K @Steffi @Neha Jain @Oussama @Yury @Jason M @Shary. You all did really well for your first drives in an area with much soft sand, cross-tracks, and with other users moving around and through our convoy. Thanks for a wonderful drive @Davie Smooth_Operator. Always a pleasure to drive with you. Great working with you @Mark B @Ishak, and @Imran Asghar. See you all on the sand next time.2 points

My first drive in liwa and it was definitely memorable, great drive route and terrain. We had a handful of stucks and refusals with me sitting at one of the crests to live up to the nickname. @Looper Can’t thank you enough For the whole experience and sharing your knowledge especially with the sideys. The sand was super soft and was challenging to drive through but everyone got the feel of the sand and kept momentum through the second half. Controlling the car on the slope coming up and down gave more confidence in the drive. 120 km across liwa desert is definitely something to remember with the yellow changed white truck infamous area lived up to its hype. @M.Seidam thank you fir the great help and supervision were great lessons learnt from you on the recovery part.2 points
