  5. RSVP IS NOW CLOSED @vinayak n@Myrko@Lukas Lewis@Kirill K@[email protected].@Zsolt@JC_E@Yurybel@Vijaya Kumar Doppa@Carl Stanley@J-P L Thank you all for signing up! As you are probably well aware, the heat has started to kick in already, which means some precautions will be in place. 1) Please arrive by 5.45AM so you have time to deflate and set up your flag. I'd like to get the convoy moving by 6.10AM latest. Please be on time guys. 2) The aim is to have a decent paced drive and to cover quite some ground. That will surely help to keep the cars cooler. 3) Keep a close watch on your heat gauge throughout the drive. Do let us know immediately if you see any signs of overheating. 4) The overall terrain choice might be a bit altered to avoid constant pushing of the vehicles especially towards the end of the drive. We will be using Channel 4: 446.081Mhz as our radio channel to communicate during the drive. See you all tomorrow morning !

Everyone worked together as a team to enable us to calmly and safely deal with the situation. I really did appreciate all of the patience that everyone showed today and the great team work displayed with the rope work and the exceptional shovelling that was on display. I truly hope everyone learned from this experience and as @Luke K P says it could happen to any of us. great second lead by @Alex M follow my last minute corrections and smoothing the lines out for you all to follow, thanks and appreciated. Our sweep for the day was @Andrew John Melvill who did an amazing job keeping me informed and some excellent rope work during our recovery. thanks Andrew always great to have you in the convoy. And lastly we had our newly promoted Advisor @Luke K P in the Center of the convoy. What can I say, except, brilliant as always mate, you brought a calmness to proceedings as only you can, great patience and knowledge to assist the few refusals we had and fantastic supper and assistance during the last stuck making it an easier task than it could of been receiving the LC. Appreciate all the effort and assistance today mate, thanks again. thanks to all that joined us for coffee, it was fantastic to chat and get to know you all 😃 Hope you all have a great rest of your weekend and here is a small video to relive the experience https://www.relive.com/view/vrqDywRPVLv

  8. What a morning! First of all, THANK YOU to everyone for your help and patience today. Teamwork is how off-roading works, and everyone showed great spirit today during the recovery. These do happen to everyone at some point,. We ALL. get a turn 😅😅😅 @Davie Smooth_Operator great leading, @Alex M thanks for finessing Davies lines and thx for make sure we didn't leave anyone behind @Andrew John Melvill We covered a nice bunch of different terrain in nice clean sand. Up and down over some big dunes. Some sidie practise, and navigating through soft patches. I've never driven in this part of Dubai before... Great fun. After all that sand play.. stopping for a ice coffee at last exit at the end was HEAVENLY! enjoy the rest of your weekend, and hope to see you all again soon! If you took any photos, please add them to the drive gallery 🙏

  9. Drive report ( hybrid convoy ) mixing the convoy into 1:1 of Fb : IM/Fb+ proved to be not a bad idea . Despite couple of refusals / stucks and one popout every one of us had his own take away home massage of joy , shared responsibility and ample time to see and watch the desert in the night. On top of all was the nice chat during the break along with delicious home made Karak tea thankfully offered by Luke 🙏 the sand was super soft in multiple areas and I am not surprised at all after yesterday heat. Nevertheless every one did more than great and I thank all of you guys for sharing the passion. Special thanks @Luke K P who spared no efforts helping and guiding when needed as well as to our intermediates helping as well. please feel free to share your comments , pictures or clips . Cheers and see you soon in another night drive . Seidam

Team spirit is what makes me this club so special, and I am always happy to help whenever I can. I have learned a great deal by driving under all the leads and the rest of the support team. The feedbacks each drive really helped me a lot. Looking forward to the leaders lead sessions and to continuing this journey with such a great of people. @Emanuel let’s make it happen 😃 🤞

  13. The drive was absolutely fantastic — we thoroughly enjoyed every bit of it! It offered a great variety of terrain, some of which was completely new to me, especially driving through it at night. There was a mix of technical challenges, sideways slides, ridge riding — in short, all the flavors of off-roading in one go. What made it even more special were the breaks and the great conversations we shared. The chit-chat along with Karak chai added such a warm touch to the whole experience. A big thanks to Luke for the spot-on guidance, and of course, hats off to our amazing lead, Doc, who orchestrated the drive beautifully from start to finish. It was also a pleasure meeting new folks and reconnecting with familiar faces. I’m definitely looking forward to more of these relaxing, stress-busting adventures in the future. See you all soon — have a great weekend

  36. @Luke K P @Andrew John Melvill @Sam Selim @Aser @Giacomo @ChrisW @Beide Worku @Shahid Mehmood Apologies, gentlemen! It’s with a heavy heart that I have to dampen our excitement—the car decided not to go ahead with the drive plan. I wanted to ensure everything was okay, so I took it for a quick spin this morning. Just as I entered Qudra, I had a nasty stuck, As the car went into 2WD , warranting shoveling for a decent amount of time. . Even while driving back home on the road in 2WD, I noticed multiple warning indicators. The earliest appointment I could get is on Sunday morning. The only positive I can see is - For a drive like this, its better I had these indicators before we entered the desert on Sunday. Please considere this drive as technically not cancelled but just postponed .

  39. @Ishak your attitude has been visible to us from the start. You never shy away from teamwork and helping out on every drive. I remember a drive where my coolant hose popped off, and before i knew what happened, you and @Dodi Syahdarwere already climbing in my engine bay and fixing the issue 😀. You've also worked on your drive skills and improved massively. Nowadays i see your Pajero floating over the dunes, completely in tune with the terrain. Extremely impressive ! I am sure you will excel in the Leaders Lead Sessions, and will make a brilliant lead very soon !
