A bit of sharing of what the desert thought me today , the destination is important but how you get there is what counts . After 5 refusals I stoped counting ,instead, I kept going , each climb I failed kept me save, going down was just a reset point . Thank you @J-P Lfor guidance, thank you @Andrew John Melvill and @Frederic for this amazing drive , @JC_E and @Ishak for support and all drivers in the convoy it was nice to see you all. Big big thank to everyone for another fun day , lots of learnings and the desire to keep going!!!4 points

Thank you @Andrew John Melvill for another great day out on the dunes. It was certainly a mix between long and sweeping dunes with a stint of short and bumpy in the middle, and the offroad tax that just keeps on giving (rather taking). Thank you to everyone on the support team and all the familiar faces we are becoming accustomed to see and meet each week. Well done @Ana for persevering today with a smile on your face and a go-getting spirit!3 points

DRIVE DESCRIPTION A three-course serving of Al Fayah, with something different waiting in each section of the drive. The Entrée: We’ll start from the usual Fayah location and warm things up with some long-range dune riding, getting into the flow before the terrain tightens up. The Main Course: Then it’s into the infamous Fayah Technical Zone. This is where we’ll slow things down and focus on driving smoothly and continuously through soft, difficult terrain. The aim is not to attack every obstacle, but to read the sand, maintain momentum and keep the convoy flowing through the maze. The sand will be soft. There will be refusals. The temps will be H O T. Keep your wits about you and expect to work for your lines. And if we somehow make it all look too easy, there’s a simple solution: back onto the sabkha, return to the start, and do it again. 😎 There is no reward for finishing fast! The Dessert: If time and temperatures allow, we’ll finish with a visit to the desert safari play area for some faster driving and a few big, tall sidies. A bit of flow, a lot of technical sand, and hopefully just enough punishment to earn dessert. DRIVE DESCRIPTION Ladies and Gentlemen, rev your engines! We are channeling full Crash Team Racing (CTR) energy for a high-tempo evening run through the Lisaili sands toward Qudra Solar Park. Our goal: hunt for open tracks, sweep through bowls, and collect maximum speed along fast ridge-lines. Good morning @Maneesh M! A friend of mine drives a Leopard, he recommended joining the following Whatsapp Group: https://chat.whatsapp.com/BAry0kuwvqG1j1j95CZ7cq?s=cl&p=i&ilr=4&amv=1 It seems on the Denza B5 you can choose to run the car in EV or PHEV mode. I think in Sports Mode it will constantly use both the electric motors and petrol engine, which is most likely not needed for beginner level drives in the desert. If you have a full battery charge it might be better to put the car in EV mode and only use the electric mode. There is indeed a lot to learn in this car. Perhaps this Whatsapp group can help.1 point

DRIVE DESCRIPTION This one is all about exploration. Starting from the westernmost edge of Al Adlah, we’ll point the convoy east and see what we can uncover along the way. There’s no polished route and no guarantee of a clean line through — the aim is to explore, test possibilities and hopefully unlock some new terrain for future drives. Expect plenty of stops, starts, scouting and backtracking. We may find a promising line only to discover it goes nowhere, loop back toward where we started, or suddenly stumble across something completely unexpected. There’s no pressure to cover big distance. This drive is about curiosity, problem solving and enjoying the process of finding out what lies beyond the next dune. Expect the unexpected. Iced latte coffee will be provided, B Y O Conversation for last 20 minute or so break. Bring a chair. Drive report 1st thanks for being on time allowing us to get away shortly after 6am. We had a good start talking about and practicing climbs. Each car is a bit different when it comes to gearing and power sweet spots. Knowing yout car only comes with practice. From there we had a technical section before the dunes opened up again. Here we had more chances to practise climbs along with ridge riding, switches and how to get out of bowls! To @Sandeep Padhi, @Enrico - Mountain, @Ana, @Lazy Frog, @Rajath Shetty and @khurramm some really good driving from all especially as we pushed your limits on occasions. To @Frederic, @Ishak, @J-P L and @JC_E would never have been able to do this drive without you. Always a pleasure to drive with every one of you.1 point
