  1. Posting for my colleague, who drives 2012 Kia Optima and just out of warranty. Interior light flickers after few seconds of operation, and it happen most of the time though not 100% but 60-70% of the time. Showed the car to roadside electrician to check the interior light and it looks good, but problem still continue. What should be the next step to doubt....?
  2. This is getting too much now, as every now and then we all exceed speed limit here and there while overtaking or rushing into the new road......! This new camera car will increase the pile up of slow snail on the Dubai roads now. Same like safe distance definition by Dubai resident has been understood as 300 meters and not 5 -10 meters, and everyday in morning I see those morons driving in high speed lane with HUGE gaps and causing everyone extra delay.
  3. Very surprising to see over 50% people find meaning in their car number plate. I mean even if we have such option in Dubai, then why would someone spend attention on number plate it's just an identification code by the motor authority, that's it....>00<
  4. F-150 and Raptor are two different vehicle all together that look very similar ONLY: F150 is essentially a low cost pickup, slight above the industrial grade pickup league.Raptor made on F150 pickup chassis and body and have souped almost every other thing.Raptor has better suspension, better engine response, lifted height and ready for offroad. They both cost is poles apart that confirms the three above reason.
  5. I have seen many different people here in dubai and uae changing car every year and some sticking to their car for long time. Where as Im an average person who keep the car for 3-5 years. I am curious to know how long you guys keep your car. Please vote and see the realistic results among car enthusiast's in UAE.
  6. Turocharged Jeep Wrangler will be more fun if they don't really downsize the engine capacity and number of cylinders considerably. Keep the 6 cylinder and 3+ Liter size for Turbo engine, and it will fly on every dune.
  7. Haroon buddy, thjanks for sharing. It is very nice and good looking car except the name looks like alcohol bottle. lol. I am due for car change in next year, and should see this beauty at least before finalizing my 4th Chevy.
  8. Have tried the ENOC fuel stations, they do stock lot of inventory of AC Delco and those are reasonably good with slight overprice and AC Delco is at same quality of Ford Motorcraft batteries.
  9. Hahahahha, nice one. Actually those busy bees don't know they are not helping themselves from this. And worst is damn stupidly clicked picture with bad angle, lo res and in low light. I mean nobody sell potatoes that way and you are really attempting to sell a car that way. Good luck.
  10. Especially Jeep wrangler tells a lot of used by which nationality. If it's only road used and completely stock (which I highly doubt) then any nationality is fine. If it's completely souped up then britishers and european are better nationality to buy as compare to arabs and middle eastern countries owners. No thread war intended here.
  11. Jeep is ok for summer, as far as you don't hit dunes to much in heat and then AC will stop working in desert and you get fried in 45 degrees in heat. For road driving on highway and city it is fine in 45 degree also AC work.
  12. Out of all, I believe Dodge Ram is the best in comfort, performance, fuel mileage and towing capacity. Second I would say Ford 150
  13. Another part that you might not know as many here don't know. Even if you are at 118 and someone comes close to you from behind and lane in front of you is empty YOU HAVE TO MOVE AWAY, even if you are at 200 speed. This law/rule is made for handling emergencies only, Imagine someone house is on fire or his pregnant wife is in pain who will abide the speed limit....? However, that said I also agree that plenty or majority of folks here abuse this rule for the sake of fun and then stop for hours in front of cafeteria and having tea and smoke. Simply lacks the maturity.
  14. That rubber stamp worth much more than service cost, in short term owning for 1-2 years. In long run, it doesn't make sense.
  15. Kings I guess the best and it's not that expensive and it's very long lasting. Most of the safari boyz use the king's suspension in their Land Cruiser that get beating on daily basis.
  16. As ramadan starting in few days, wondering if some of you guys want to plan some drive during upcoming Eid holidays from 17 July 2015. It can be day trip or overnight with bbq and camp out in some nice mountain (few degrees lesser than the city). Any thoughts, ideas or initiation is welcome.
  17. Well it seems some bacth of adnoc eplus was defective that cause those issues as i heard from few of my friend as well. As once in a while if you use eplus in higher octane car nothing will happen that catalytic converter get choked like this. +1 for timmy advise.
  18. Cooper STT is too heavy and you will loose the sand dune climb capability if car is stock without any mods. Overall it looks good and very capable with deafening highwya noise. Siam 900, is good in sand only, worst in wadi rocks and terrible on road cornering and pathetic in slippery (raining) days. Yokohama Geolander ATR (1st choice) and Cooper ATR (2nd choice) are the only good tires that offer good balance of both offroad (sand +wadi) capability and on road safety and comfort.
  19. IMHO, BMW 4 Series is amazing indeed, but I would stay away from newer car model for first few years until the teething issue settle down. Too much to risk and put on stake when you blindly trust the manufacturers raging hormone spree.
  20. In recent years, I have notice that a lot of people now started driving at 120+ kmph in slow lane (extreme right). Any idea why guys......?
  21. I will any day choose Honda over Toyota just because of the looks, although I know that Toyota engineering is an inch smarter and proven than Honda.
  22. Yesterday night on business bay road, with another muscle car. I always wish to race in proper controlled environment like in Autodrome or Yas but never got a chance or time to pursue my hobby.
  23. Hi guys, I am planning to buy a honda civic as my second car and basically for my wife school and grocery run. Is there is any way I can get a real fuel mileage number from real users...? Thanks in advance.
  24. There are two ways to inspect the Fuel Pump: 1. Electrical test 2. Fuel Pressure Test
