    Just read today morning that all cars in UAE will have below efficiency rating mandatory from 2017. This new move seems very good for educating consumer before buying the vehicle, however I am not understanding the need of creating 5 levels of rating within just 1 L/100 km (1.71 km/liter) difference.     Get ready for class A and B service center increasing their price by 100% and matching just close to the dealer rates. This will be the first reaction of any car business as soon as they get rated and ready for the customers.

    Have you tried any engine additives, as few time they tend to relax the tappet quiet as much. Worth trying before you open the pandora box.

    Simply because it is too expensive, ugly and under power luxury car impostor that market didn't like it. Period. Secondly it's younger siblings M35, M37 and M37X got really super hit in market which comes at 70% of cost of M45.

    Just to help solve the puzzle: Head gasket is fixed from top of the engine bay.Engine sump gasket is fixed from bottom of the car.

    Have you tried the engine oil additives like Engine Restorer, Gunk Motor Flush or Cerma? If not, may be you can explore that avenue if missing is very mild and no smoke, hesitation or loss of pwer showed up yet. Your engine sound seems like exhaust valve is sticky or noticeably blocked.

    Looks like its time to change the ideal control valve/sensor as a first doubt if you are not explaining anything further.

    Hi Lamaar, hope you doing good today. For the SRS light issue in short the answer, there is some airbag issue in your car which is a safety aspect and that's why its showing you the light that in case of serious accident your car airbag might not pop-out. In case of some previous accident the airbag sensor might not have changed as it's expensive fix and that why car ECU still reads as air-bag is having an issue. This is def a bit involved repair than something you can do it yourself. You definitely need an experienced workshop who specialize in VW or such jobs to get this fixed.

    Although I am not a big fan of Kia, but I know 2 guys who drive Optima and they swear by its performance and luxury. This 2016 model looks quite better from inside and follow Audi interior design line as well as it does for exterior since 2012 facelift models.

    Malls is no longer a good bet during holiday seasons, as they are jam packed and you spend hours for parking and waste time with sub-standard customer service. House party, card games, some DIY car projects with friends is awesome for long local holidays.

    Hi Derick, welcome abroad and yes buying used car is really an art and not for the weak heart as it always require bit of chance and play of luck to go in favor. I have been blessed all the time, but I know few friends whose deal has turn sour even after rigorous checks and guarantees. Don't buy too old used car and keep within 3-5 years old used bracket and you will be fairly safe. Second rule is aim to get lowest driven car uner 60-100 k kms max, even if you have to pay 5% extra for lower mileage then its worth the deal.

    This has been planned and spreading rumors every year-end since 2012. I reckon if it's hitting the market anytime soon due to ongoing crisis. Any detailed declaration of the specs will confirm if its coming or not this time......!

    Apparently SZR is worst in traffic, high speed and violation over the last number of years. All major development are focused on SZR and it leaves 1000's of people from middle class to rich class commuter using it everyday with most expensive and most capable cars. No wonder to me.

    May be worth checking the battery connection is loose, as if it is loose and when car is started then you wont feel that on anything other than interior lights and music system which uses the battery power. Ask him to run the car with music system on and switch interior light to test if music system also skips a beat or not...?

    I remember this as my toy car 20 years ago and I even repainted the water color when my sis destroyed it original paint. I guess now is the time to get a new shape toy car, may be now RC option will come....!

    This post should have the polling option mate. Anyways, my vote is 100% Ferrari, not just by the brand enthusiasm but about their track performance record in the past. Mclaren and Porsche will be the second or third, more chances McLaren will score second and Porsche will be third.......!

    This was a big news in US two weeks back and now VW future surely seems doomed with billions in fines and class actions. To be honest I havent heard anything wrong here in UAE about the VW petrol cars, as my three colleagues drives VW and we were discussing this matter for days last month.

    It seems that govt has given all dealers time till end of this year to streamline this move, and I am really curious to hear what Japanese car dealers has to say to increasing the service life-span and what German boyz has to say to decreasing the life-span.....?

    Respecting public privacy is a good point and that's a fair valid point to get rid of unexpected camera bumps on the road. lol. Answer: Sir, our camera only record number plate and not the car and def not the car passengers.......!
