  1. 160 in a Lada Riva....hmmm
  2. 10mm the spanner ans socket you can never find Even though you have 6 different sets
  3. Ramadan is not over yet and your mind is already in the gutter! O_O
  4. That would be the case if it wasn't an absolutely new car. There is no way you warped your discs in less than a 1000kms. But you never know the stealerships here, they can can come up with some out of this world BS to not do some work.
  5. This is a symptom of a warped brake disc, shouldnt be happening in such a new car, anyways since ita new and under warranty put in a complain when yoi take it for the 1000kms service and see of they manage to sort it out.
  6. Please don't tell me you bought a used air filter! Its akin to buying a used oil filter!
  7. Damn should have bought a BMW if I knew the parts were that cheap, entire crankshaft for just 180dhs
  8. Just make sure which is the closet mosque that is offering Eid Prayers
  9. Hate to rain on your parade, but there are 90% chances of Friday being Eid, so no suhoor. Call it a pre Eid Drive. Straight to Eid Prayers from the desert! That would be a first!
  10. Ghetto cheap bastard fix, use some clear nail polish on it. Might make it less obvious. Can also use on minor body scratches and if you are even cheaper and dont have touch up paint or dont want to buy any. Get somewhat matching nailpolish colour and use that to cover up minor blemishes.
  11. Ohh...I didn't know he was such a Pagayro oops I mean Pajero fan!
  12. Read the manual and it will tell you if its suppose to go up also on one touch
  13. There are quite a few places in shj doing refurbs or more correctly replace air suspension airbags. Just need to get them the struts, last time I checked it was 500dhs per corner for a RR with a 15 day warranty. What car is it anyways, might be able to give better info
  14. I guess that last climb was the last straw that broke the camels back. If the block is fine then maybe rebuild the engine? See if upgraded heavy duty parts are available online, maybe even a stroker kit, perhaps. But you will need a good and competent mechanic who knows what hes doing, maybe bribe barry to comeout of retirement! Look on Australian sites as this Pajero is omewhat popular there but unfortunately mostly diesel, but no harm in trying.
  15. Oooo....that cant be good at all! How did it happen? No coolant, oil, oil pressure, blown head gasket? Were there no tell tales signs that something is amiss. And what does motor is fried entail? A motor just doesn't fry out of the blue, its usually a chain of events. And knowing how OCD Gaurav is about his cars its hard to think he missed anything. I know he will investigate the hell out of it even if its just some odd noise he heard just once. So its very hard for me to believe he didnt see or feel it coming and immediately took some action And honestly if it was someone else, I wouldn't have given it much thought as your avg joe is usually oblivious most of the time as what his car trying to say to him. Waiting to hear his side of the story.

    New music

Norwegian, Finnish, Swedish all Scandinavian. So same same but different. And blegh! I hate acoustic guitar unplugged style covers. Only unplugged covers that were worth its salt were Nirvana doing their own songs. My fav cover has to be Land Of Confusion by Disturbed and Hello by Leo

    New music

Hmmm... Remake of an old Pet shop boys tune. Not bad. But I'll take that other Swedish fellow Leo Morechili or something of leap frog studios for rock covers of old or pop tunes.
  18. Thats actually a thing in Saudi, where people have bought popular cars and stored them, dunno if they are still doing it though. You could find new old cars like Cressida's and Patrols with people selling them for big lump sums. They had a certain word for this practise which I cant remember, Khazin or something.
  19. Looks just as ugly as any other European car from that era, from Morris to those communist yugos and Ladas
  20. ok try this old hack, at night go to someplace dark, carry a bottle of water spray without. And with the engine running spray water mist around coils, plug wires and if there is a short you will see electricity arcing and sparking. If this doesnt show any conclusive results. With the car started disconnect and connect every plug wire, if the missing gets worse you know that one is working and put that back in. If you reach a coil where disconnecting and connect doesnt make any difference, then that is your suspect circuit. Either that coil, wire or plug is bad.
  21. I think we have another Toyota spammer infestation again. I remember a similar infestation a few years back.
  22. I dont care as all 3rd party coverage is the same, so whichever is the cheapest at that time is the best. And 9 times out of 10 I dont even know what company it is, I just sign the papers and give them in and dump the personal copy envelope in the dash. I can with all honestly tell you that I dont know which company's insurance my car is right now.
  23. 100% agreed, watching paint dry is more exciting than Camrys or is it Camries ?!?!? My sofa is also spacious and comfortable, should I be getting excited for that also !!!!
