  1. Ok. To change the starter follow the points:

Before removing the starter, disconnect the negative terminal of the battery cable first and then the positive cable from the starter. Now use the ratchet to remove all the bolts which is holding the starter to the block. Now disconnect the starter and and install the new one by tightening the bolts by hand first and then use the ratchet to tighten it completely.

At the end you can reconnect the battery cable back to the starter.

    Its done!

  2. Well, there are two reasons why the car has rotten egg smell. One is catalytic converter and the other one is the battery.

In your case, it cannot be catalytic conveter, as you were on vacation and you did not drive your car in meanwhile. So its battery. The rotten egg smell from the battery comes when there is a possibility of decoposition. I suppose the battery life is coming to an end now. I am also assuming that you did not remove the battery from the car when you went to vacation.

  3. Go for something updated! I mean dont know go a model whic is 5 or more years old. I did the same mistake and i ended up paying a lot for the maintenance. FJ Cruiser offcourse is a nice car, but buying a used one, then check for the claims on the vehicle, if any accident and things like that.

  4. Talking about the cheap plastic, i have an interesting story to tell you guys. I bought Ford Fiesta in 2012. My family loved this car and without any trouble, the car went smooth for good 6 months. I was happy so was my family. The problem started when I smelled a bad odor in my car. I opened the engine, and as Bradly shared, the plastic caps of the radiator were burnt already. There was a coolant leak from the car. I took my car to the dealer and they changed the complete radiator was it was completely changed. But please note, that the plastic covering the new radiator was again very cheap quality which I noticed after 4 months.

Not only didn’t that, after few months, the dash drawer at the passenger’s side lock properly. Reason if you ask, the plastic of dash was so cheap that the lock was half hanging out. Got that changed as well. After some days I noticed that the dash from the corner of the passenger front is broken when my niece was playing in there. I don’t blame my niece, as the dash was broken already and she was the one who made me notice the broken dash. I took my car to the dealer with an angry mood and blasted my voice out to them. And guess what they told me, they have to change the complete dash interior. I was like! I just bought this car! And the most interesting part was when they came to me with a sweet smile on their face and said, “Sir! The replacement of this will not be covered under the warranty, as the warranty doesn’t claim anything in interiors”. Somehow I managed to control my anger and left from there. I was so annoyed with my car that I sold my car to my cousin as he wanted a car urgently. Somehow he is surviving in this car now.

  5. Overheating. May be the coolant or oil from the engine is leaking. Don’t wait for any of the part to be damaged because of this, and take your car to the dealer NOW! I remember when I ignored this issue for a month and because of that; the radiator and head gasket was damaged and had to replace them. Go NOW!

  6. Yes you can. And rather you can save money to get it installed from your dealer or any other workshop.

Firstly, you need to remove the face plate/trim piece. To do that you have to unscrew all the screws on the trim piece. There will be some components connected to the trim piece that you may need to detach for a while until the installation is complete. You will notice the OEM harness over there. You need to connect each wire properly in crimp connector. There are some wires of the speakers as well. It’s mentioned on the connector as well as the wire onto which one will go to which plug. Sometimes, the color code also helps in doing so. The put the stereo connector inside the space and screw the car stereo properly. Before tightening it, make sure the connection is proper and the stereo is working properly. Tighten the screws and enjoy your music!

  7. I have mazda3 and i am really happy with my car. I am excited about this car from the day i bought this car. My mother and sister love this car as much as i do. My friends also sometimes borrow my car to show off. I have highly maintained my car and thus never faced a heavy damage in my car. I have recommended this car to many people and they are happy with the choice as well.

  8. Engine overheating is a very general problem that most of the driver faces. If the coolant is at low level or leaking, it damages the complete engine and result into overheating. To stop such a risk, one needs to make sure the coolant level is properly maintained in the car. So, whenever you feel that your is getting heated, then you can directly check the coolant level. And if the coolant needs to be filled, you can refill with that time itself if you have the coolant. You don't have to wait till to take your car to the service station. By doing this, you avoid lot of problem that can damage car engine.

  9. If not alignment, they may be because of the dragging brakes or mismatched tires. One experience steering problem because of unequal resistance and imbalanced friction. If its a resistance problem, then may be mismatched tires or under inflated tires. If friction is experienced side to side on the suspension then its because of the dragging brakes.
