  1. It’s pretty expensive I suppose. Almost 2,000 AED and labor charge is different. Do you still hold the warranty or it is expired?
  2. May be problem with the valves if it’s a ticking noise. If it’s a humming noise, then loosely bolted accessory. And if there is grinding noise, it means the wheel bearing is damaged.
  3. I never like Peugeot dealership at all. They are not really expertise in their work. If your warranty is expired, I would prefer you to take your car to the local workshop. They are actually better than them.
  4. Engine mount is something which holds the complete engine. Its basically a rubber which is mounted on top of the sub-frame. It cordinates all the engine function all together. If you feel any transmission issue in your car, it is morelikely because of the engine mounting gone bad which drop down the engine performance.

  14. If there is a trouble in the knock sensor, it is better to get it replaced. most of the times, it is not possible to fix it. But also make sure, that you get it replaced to the earliest to avoid any sever engine damage.
  15. The best way to refill the coolant is to pour the coolant till the radiator is an inch close to being full. After radioator, pour the coolant in the coolant reservoir to the proper level. After pouring the coolant, start the engine and put off the cap of radiator and coolant reservoir until the coolant circulates in the whole engine while the thermostat opens. If you feel that the coolant level is dropping, continue to pour coolant until its full. After completing the process, you need to recheck the level. For the same, replace the radiator cap and drive for a short distance. After that, shut the engine and check the coolant level again. If its proper, then the process is complete. But if you feel the level went down, add more coolant.
  16. I know some causes of ignition misfire: Loss of spark: loss of spark is when when the coil voltage is prevented from jumping the electrode gap at the plug which results in damaged spark plugs and weak coil. Lean misfire: this occurs when the fuel mixture is too lean to burn because of absence of gasoline in the mixture. This can happen because of damaged fuel injectors and air leaks. Loss of compression: This happens when the fuel mixture is lost from the cylinder itself because it can be ignited. This is caused mainly by blown head gasket.
  17. Hey everyone I was wondering if we have refill the coolant system on our own or do we need an expert to do the same? And if we can do it on our own, please discuss how? Thank you

  19. I think its a serious problem in the car, may be due to accident or otherwise. I will advice you not to drive the car but take it directly to the service centre. May be there is problem in the engine system or some electrical failure. Just get it checked. And dont drive your car as you may end up hurting yourself or someone else on the road.
  20. Hi Guys I am facing a small problem with the parking lights of my Grandis. Whenever i turn on the parking lights, it suddenly bows off and after 10 seconds, the lights are back to normal. 21. The life of break pads solely depends upon your habit of breaking. People who are slow drivers generally use more break pads than those who are smooth and fast drivers. And specially when you are driving in the city, for sure the life of the break pads in lesser than those cars driven on highways. Generally, for a Pajero, the life of break pads is minimum 6 months and it can go till 2-3 years depending upon the usage. Last month, I went to a garage to change the Break pads in my car, I paid around 250 AED for the new pads. And also, if you want to extend the life of your break pads, then driving smooth is the best solution because you have less chances of your tyre getting wore and tore.
