  1. The warranty is valid only if the service is done with the dealer. I am the third owner and the service has been done outside. Also, I have exceeded the 120,000 km warranty mileage.
  2. I have attached the video. The noise is clearly audible once the speed reaches 40 kmph (at approx 00:12 on the video). I release the gas once the car reaches 80 kmph and you will notice the noise has stopped. And when I start to accelerate the noise starts. I was by informed by someone that this is a gear noise which for me is a bigger worry. Hence, wanted some opinions before I start working with the mechanic. VID-20190917-WA0009.mp4
  3. In my 2014 Accord, after I cross the speed of about 40 kmph, there is a noise which comes from the front side of the car. It sounds like a rumbling noise and it becomes a continuous noise as the speed increases. The noise stops when I immediately leave the accelerator and starts as soon as I again start accelerating. Tried this at various speeds and the results are the same I have recently changed the transmission fluid and filter. Shifting is smooth with no issues. Tyres have been recently changed as well. This noise has been there for a while, probably 60,000 km. But it's just getting irritating now. Need help in trying to diagnose the source of the noise. Thanks
  4. @Frederic, thanks for sharing this. My wife was going to try this for a couple of days and now definitely I would not be recommending this. I would also suggest posting this feedback on Google review.
  5. Any idea how much do they charge for Laser Alignment?

  8. Sign up for the drive as well. 😁 Really looking forward to this weekend. One of my favourite areas and plus it's a morning drive. What more can one ask for.
  9. @Barry you need to try the Mumbai local train. The beauty is that you don't need to take any effort to get on or off the train. Your co-passengers would assist you even when you don't need it.
  10. You have had a very long vacation. Lucky man. give your car to me, will get the 600 km done within 2 days.. 😁
  11. Someone who drives at the speed of light, hmm....🤔
  12. Mabrook Freddy boy. You are an absolute joy to have a drive with
  13. I am always at 91 in my Jeep Cherokee, which is recommended by Jeep. My inline 6 was only meant to have 87, and it could possibly overwork if I go higher.
  14. One more question, if you are changing the rear differential ratio, do you need to change the front as well?
  15. I had researched a lot on this higher differential ratio. The build quality is generally better for the higher ratios, but this fact of wheel spin needs to be checked. When I read about it, didn't seem to make sense to go up the ratio. Correct me if I am wrong, but if the ratio says 4.56, that means for every 4.56 rotation of the engine the wheel would spin 1 time. This is good in Rocky terrain and you have the max torque band in the region of 3000-4000 rpm where you need to rotate the tires just a little over the rocks to cross the obstacle. But in sand it's the opposite. When you need to do the high hill climb, I believe a lower ratio is better as you will have more wheel spin at the same torque band.
  16. Yes, bigger tyres can create issues. But from what I have read it would only for tyre size above 35 inch. Regarding the gear ratio, just check if it's better to go higher up as you would have less wheel spin. In the case of rock crawling higher gear ratio is better as to get the max torque at low speed. But when driving on sand, you ideally need your wheel to spin to get you out of the situation.
  17. There is no rear difflock as a stock option in the Wrangler. Even I suspect the rear bushing, but then since it's a solid axle at the rear would it affect?
  18. Did you have any noise? Was the differential low on gear oil for this to happen?
  19. The rules have changed. A sedan or SUV registered in company name can have a tiny. It's only the commercial vehicles like pickups, minivans etc that have the restriction
  20. It's called photochromatic glasses. Never heard the term of electrochromic glasses.
  21. Actually it depends on what parts are being replaced. The labor cost is typically around 1000 for a workshop in Ajman. If you need to replace any other part the cost can go up or down
