    Single owner but has clocked 270k because of frequent inter emirates trips. Never been off road,zero mods. R50 2005 SE. Delivery tomorrow inshallah!

    Couple of years ago I read a report in which they mentioned that the reason for that particular incident of cruise control failure was unauthorized modification done by the owner of the car from unauthorized worshop. I'm not aware as what modification was done on it which caused CC to malfunction.

    I personally like to drive Manual. Due to traffic issues here. I need to think twice.

    Loll. Not at the moment. But yes in near future. BTW my DL is manual only. Working for Galadari Group and getting license I month was the only achievement. That too in 2008 you had to wait for minimum 3 months to get final rta test dates.

    Guys. My topic was only related to driving license conversion from automatic to manual license. Not the gearbox.

    I have a similar experience with Oman Insurance. I get better premiums compare to other provider. I tried to get quote from RSA for my prado too. OIC was around 600 cheaper. I get better deals with OIC may be because im with them since 2013. Taxi bumped into my corolla from rear. Claim was handled very professionally. Cancelled my 1st car policy(UAE) in 2016, refund was processed in 3 working days. It was the same when i cancelled my corolla policy in March this year. Refund amount was in my account on the 3rd day of the request.

    Hats off to @Shamil to immediately analyze the situation & check what went wrong or rather what he did was wrong. We learn from our mistakes. Unfortunately people who owns their fault are rare. Salute to your courage for not just accepting it, but analyzing and sharing with others.

    Woww!! @Barry You have covered all key points in one go. I absolutely agree on the fact that market is not that good. But it is a life cycle. It will turn positive sooner or later.
