I believe it will be mentioned on Omani Visa. Last time when we cross over it was mentioned Khatmat Malaha Border only for one our our visitor. Im not sure if they can pass thru others when it is mentioned on visa itself.

What will be the remedy for scratches. I have notice quite a few scratches on my Barado. Its irritating when your car is neat and clean. Any DIY sloution are also welcome.

Guys. today morning, My prado was kissed by T. Camry (Rear Ended). Damage is just a minor one that too on fiber parts only(Scratches on Bumper & Spare Wheel Cover). Can anyone suggest decent workshop for paint job. Probably in Al Nahda or Deira Area.

Experts. Please enlighten us on the applicability of a product called Bug Deflector. Does it really serves it purpose of installation? I have come across few cars in UAE which has this product installed.

Their is nothing as good car and bad car. For a seller all of his car on sale are excellent cars. For a buyer every car he is interested will be under scrutiny. It totally depends on your skill to inspect the car. I would suggest if you are going to see any car and have a doubt, please ensure that you take someone(may be friend) who has knowledge on the subject. Ask questions on everything and anything you are not comfortable with. After all its your hard earned money!!

Even i was told the same thing. Grading structure is under process and will be implemented on completion and approvals from relevant authorities.

Yes. They said only services done at AF will keep warranty intact. Also in regards to my prado. I rechecked with Automall. they said its automall warranty and not Toyota. If in case i service other than automall or AF-Toyota warranty will be void.

Any leads for Toyota Genuine parts dealer other than AF. Also would like to know the approx cost of Brake Pads (Front & Rear) for Prado.

Spoke to someone who knows the subject. The above rule is still under discussion and not been implemented. It is a tedious task to grade garages all over UAE. based on the grading(Like Grade A) only warranty will be intact. I personally believe once the grading is done Grade A garages will hike heir service charges near to dealership🤞

Check amazon.ae You will find lot of options. Better to go for digital paint tester. I personally feel digital will be have accurate reading where you are make out if the panel was dented and repaired or it was just re-coated for scratches.

Gentlemen. Please share your expert advise. Normal Service for Prado from decent workshop is around AED 800-1000. Depending on type of service. Dealer quote for 80k service is from 2900-3100. Garage Service cost for the same is somewhere around AED. 2030-2200. I came across an option from the dealer i purchased my car. For 80K service cost was AED. 2030. If i get a service contract for 2 years/20K Kms cost of all 4 services is 3400. If i dont opt for contract then service cost will be as follows (2100+780+570+700). My basic question is. Is it advisable to go for service contract or go for independent services. In case if we opt for service contract. Can they cheat us on parts or checks required during the services?
