  1. Toyota Land cruiser 2008 - 2015
  2. I have seen few cars on road with tilted wheels, and don't know what to call them but I am curious to know why they tilt wheels and what is the advantage for that? I know people lower their car for looks and better aerodynamic but what is the relation with titling wheels...? Thanks.
  3. many countries already implemented engine size cap and uae is already planning to do the standardization in early 2017 and start rating cars as per fuel efficiency. I assume the idea behind this act must be to say bye bye to nasty gas guzzlers in coming years.
  4. All I can say about Dodge challenger after seeing my very close colleague is first stick to GCC specs model, come what may. Secondly try to get as latest model as you can afford, better with warranty as dodge parts are insanely expensive in uae for some reason.
  5. @Technician I dont mean this, I meant that why or what people got to see the new stuff in the old cars? What BIG value you can add in a car what car manufacturer were not able to add and for there small mods and sticker job why would I waste my time and money. I mean there is nothing out of the world and you just see these show buff cars in jumeirah, diyafa, marina side anyways every second day. 90% of the cars in the above video is just worth a quick look and nothing more. That's my opinion, but don't get offended I am genuinely trying to understand a real reason behind all of this show participants and visitors motivation or expectation.
  6. Wondering what these guys do or get motivated to show their used cars.....? I can understand if new car display to show the new technology or styling, but what's the fun in this car festival? I can't get it.
  7. Since last two days, I am notricing bit of flickring head light in my nissan sunny. Few days back it was wet in the flood, but I let it fully dry 100% in hot sun and remove the few electric sockets as well to let them air dry before starting the car. Of course i did noit open the headlight plug as it was complicated for me. After week frrom floddy situation since yertsday and today i notice headlight flicker sometime like one time happen yesterday and one tiome today. please help what i need to check and fix.
  8. Have you tried dynatrade, they are pretty good with japanese cars at almost half the price what dealers charges. Call them and check if they can do Hyundai as well.
  9. Sell any car is fraud guys only there to buy your car at 50% of the market value. other are classified sites, try selling at classifieds sites with reasonable price expectations and keep lowering asking price every few days to find out the best price. post here on carnity classifeds as here you get more real people than the dealer calls.
  10. I think I noticed about 50 km drop in my last tank, and want to know what are the first few things to doubt and troubleshoot at my level. I know slight variation on every fuel tank is acceptable due to driving conditions, style and mood but this 50 km seems bit of concern to me. Thanks in advance.
  11. thnx saleem, I have not seen this switch while I was experimenting, but will check again. Is there any other way to disable, or this works in all Pajero's?
  12. There are several ways you can get teh right market price based on car year, kms, color and condition. Take the Min / Max average of the dubizzle or classifieds site ads. Reduce 10% for every year, for the number of year you own the car, if it's japanese. For UK, European brand reduce 15%. If car is brand new reduce 20% for first year and then 10% ech year Get the evaluation done from third party car dealers who doesnt buy car, but gives a fair evaluation
  13. It is not only coming in side-slope but while struggling in sand to gain momentum also traction kicks and stops the wheelspin and kill the vehicle speed to climb up the dune. I drove his car myself and felt something not normal for dune bashing, where to enter the dune with more speed and balance it out while climbing. Although it doesn't die in climbing, but hesitate a lot to the wheelspin while initial momentum is build.
  14. One of my friend drive newer Pajero, I think 2014 or 2015 model and last week while off-roading he was complaining too much about weird noise when he try to do the side-sloping. Wondering if there is any quick fix for this issue Mitsubishi has provided to turn on/off traction control from within the vehicle? Or only disable by removing the fuse, then please tell me which fuse is responsible for this disabling the traction control completely? Thanks in advance.
