@DiamondDallas it's good that you posted the price but what actual work was carried out for that price, what parts were changed etc. so people can gauge actual value for money. Obviously it was more than just a simple system regas.

@Barry What used to happen is When I used to drive the A/C used to be fine but when in traffic or idle it use to throw fire so i had this things replaced and serviced.

    1. Major thing A/C compressor (surplus) cos mine was to week to work

    2. Valve

    3. A/C Gas

4.Cleaning and Service of A/C system thats about it.

Everything was inculded the in price i said 700dhs

Now its Cooling even on Low. i was quoted by other garages for 1500, 1900, 2200

    Hi All,

I am stuck with a very strange problem. I have a 2008 3.6 V6 Pajero and AC works good on lower speeds but once I cross the 120 limit the compressor stops and doesn't kick again. I have got the Gas changed twice in one week, got the filters and grills cleaned but to no use. Help me out please if u have any idea regarding this issue. oh and btw I have noticed that temperature gauge raises in 4 wheel mood, not very much though but its higher then the center or can say in the middle of center and the red zone. Thanks

The Name of of Garage is AlAbayad Al Malaki Mr.Assad 050-5695255 he fixed my A/C and my car is now chiller Unit even on low temp its freezing when outside temp shows 48 degree and not expensive at all i was charged 700dhs

To be honest, best is to drive in sharjah BM road and seek few suspension shops with iranian guys, as they have those universal non-branded rubber spacers that works well to raise height to some extent. I used those on my Jeep grand cherokee few years back and I think all 4 costed 200-300 dhs.

Through My Experience I kindly advice you not to take your cars to Suspension People in BMW road trust me they dont even know the ABC of what they are doing unless you know what you want them to do or else it will be a big Loss for you. Please I advice all Members to stay away from those people They are frauds and they can really damage your cars. All the say " We know every thing" but once they start working you will know they dont know anything.

When you first start the car, chances are that the dashboard and all the pipes inside are hot from sitting in the sun. No cooling will occur until the ac system has cooled the air pipes. That's why you don't get immediate cooling effect when you start the car.

Off course, you can share numbers, addresses of good workshop and capable guys no matter how big or small they are. After all that's why we have this community here for sharing experience, which can help others.

I am no expert on mitsu, but this is very typical condition when car manufacturer chooses mid-range AC compressor in big and bulky car that has lot of room to cool it and that's why in extreme heat AC cooling give out. You can only upgrade to bigger SUV AC compressor if you are really very sensitive on this point. Any good AC expert can advice you what will happily fit your current AC compressor slot or do bit of google and see if anyone has upgraded their AC compressor in Pajero?

Any suggestions or upgrades available to make bloddy Pajero AC as strong as Toyota SUV, In extreme heat it just work but not work fine or sufficient to keep the car cool especially in stop and go traffic. Secondly after starting the car it takes about 15-20 minutes to get the car cool and by the time I reach home with sweating back. Discussed this matter several times with Habtoor service advisor and seems like they give blind eye and deaf ear to this issue and show me the car AC cooling under their covered workshop.

I am looking for some type of idea to upgrade to expensive quality AC Gas (freon) if it exists for better cooling? Or increasing the AC power supply that can make it work harder and provide better cooling? Or anything reasonably doable to improvise Pajero AC cooling in Dubai extreme heat at 42 degrees and above......? Thanks.

Anoop Have your thermostat Cleaned , Valve and service the A/C and get your radiator Cleaned if all this dont work than time to get Compressor Checked! Mine stays chilled at 48 Dg

I have been looking for some special coolant when I had trouble with borderline overheating. Do you know from where to get this evans coolant in uae?

I used Many types of Coolants for my Pajero Exceed 2001 Manual Trans (GCC) but I found Preston Coolant to be best Even In hot condition in desert drive it Maintains the Temp. I recommend is Use Preston Coolant.
