  1. Thx @Gaurav for these very clear and important explanations. If I may add another point regarding safety : before pulling the car, please check that nobody stands or goes around (always keep in mind that a rope, a shackle or a recovery hook can break).
  2. Something quite similar happened to my Xterra three months ago. In my case, it was the crankshaft and camshaft position sensors (I got a engine code).
  3. Young children with no seat belts, standing on the front passenger seat or jumping on the rear seats, while the father or the mother is tailgating at high speed. Believe me I saw it. Not only “bad drivers”, also “irresponsible parents”...
  4. Thank you so much @Gaurav, @Rahimdad and @Srikumar for giving me this opportunity ! It was a thrilling experience for me and I am truly happy if you enjoyed this small drive as I did. But be careful : I might get used to this and never let anyone lead 😜 (Well, no chance, actually I would miss too much to follow you guys !) Thanks @Frederic and @hossein
  5. Very good question @derik, actually difficult to answer since we don’t know your friends... In a good off-road club, you increase your chances to learn things your friends may not be able to teach you.
  6. First : falling asleep or at least paying too much attention to the nice music he was listening to - and not enough to the convoy path. Anyways he went down the dune, then tried to correct his mistake, fighting gravity, turning his weels in the direction of the top of the dune.
  7. Hi Djamelus, You can join the morning drive (newbie level), but you need more experience (a few drives) to go to Sweihan.
  8. Nice shot (but just in case you were answering my question : nope)
  9. Anyone has been there and can recognize the place ? Others can guess where those photos (sorry for the low quality) were taken ?
  10. Another area in USA, New Mexico. No high dunes, but look at this beautiful white sand :
  11. Colorado, USA. And here is a 360° from the top of Star Dune (750ft/230m)
  12. Congrats @Gaurav ! Which kind of cake would you like to blow up your 2000 candles ?
  13. Maybe this dune isn’t the highest in the world as the video pretends, but...
