  5. Good morning @sherzing if you are joining the club for the first time, you should signup for the Absolute Newbie drive this Friday. We still have a few available spots.

  7. The Nissan Super Safari is an amazing offroad vehicle, @Mario Cornejo has one and can probably tell you all the ins and outs about it. Any 4x4 will need practice to drive on sand, this is entirely up to driver skills. Getting stuck / coming out easily same thing. The 4800cc is plenty powerful for offroading (i drive a Pajero 3.0 V6 from 1999 🤣)
  8. Absolutely, but be aware that without any prior off-road experience this might cause a distraction for you. Also make sure everyone wears the seatbelts at all times.
  9. Hi Pacific, i will add you to the waiting list as we are currently full. Waitlist: 1) Muhammad Kashif Razzaq 2) N@ved 3) Pacific
  10. @GD27 and @Pacific i understand your points, but recoveries (however hard they are or long they take) are sometimes a part of an Offroad drive, and this Absolute Newbie drive is designed with a longer briefing specifically tailored for new joiners. The Newbie level drives are only slightly more paced (10-20%) based on the convoy response so don't be worried about the lack of drive experience. As you have both done the Absolute Newbie drive, you are now considered Newbies and eligible for Newbie level drives, not the Absolute Newbie drive anymore. If the existing Newbie drives are full please send a message on that drive topic with the request to be put in the waitlist. I will remove you both from the RSVP list now. Thanks !
  11. Dear @GD27 According to our data you have already taken your Absolute Newbie drive 1 week back. Please note this drive is reserved for anyone who has never driven with Carnity before. Please confirm, so I can sign you off the drive. Thanks !
  12. Good point about leaving the hoses flat in the trunk to let them cool down. Cleaning the air filter can be done by removing it and slightly "tapping" it on the floor, you will see most of the sand will easily fall out. The 5 year warranty is a great thing and i considered a MM too, but as i am seriously impressed with the Camel brand single big piston model (160lpm) We've been using now for the third year (only replaced the hose once:60 AED), i went and bought another one yesterday for 250 AED. Fingers crossed and hope this one will be as good as my first Camel compressor.

  15. This video catapulted me right back into Bu Tais !!!! Thanks so much for making this unforgettable experience caught on video !
  16. I would try first for a few drives and see if you face any issues.
  17. Check during installation if there is any running while steering completely left or right. On Vanessa her Pajero we have put a 2inch spacer to have slightly wider center of gravity.
  18. This size comes to an overall diameter of 31,6 inch, which is the same as Vanessa her 265/65/18 tyres. She has no issues with rubbing. Maybe some of the inner fender lining is offered to the desert gods though
  19. Yes absolutely but have a look if it’s not running the inner fenders too much. They are fantastic tyres for off-roading.
