They sell the cabling set also, so if you're a bit handy to mount the lightbar, the electrical work only involves connecting the red and black wire and you're good to go. (the cabling set comes with the button, relay, etc... already wired up).

If i remember correctly, that number describes the average number of drives you'll need to do before being upgraded to the next level. So in the case of a Newbie, he does on average 4-5 drives before being promoted to Fewbie, and a Fewbie does on average 10 drives (or 16 Newbie + Fewbie drives combined) to become eligible for the Intermediate level. This of course depends on a few other factors such as attitude, willingness to learn, online contribution, and if we have had the chance amongst the marshals to discuss the individual driver. Like mentioned, these are averages. We have in the past promoted people from Newbie to Fewbie sometimes faster because they had prior experience in other clubs, and their offroad experience clearly showed they were ready for that level.

Well done @Veedooshee ! From the start when @AnishS joined us you always came along and helped with deflating and even communicate on the radio, that says a lot about your interest and support to him and I am glad to see you behind the wheel too !

What’s the standard capacity ? Hummer H2 might be needing something a bit bigger.

Drive Report I was glad to see so many cars lining up at the Qudra deflation point. After spotting a few vehicles that I didn’t recognize, and seeing some flags popping up, I realized these were UAE Offroader guys. We gave them a friendly wave and moved on with our convoy that was equipped with a majority of Fewbies, and only one Absolute Newbie. This drive went so well, that we managed to do more than 40kms in less than 3 hours, which is a testament to the skills my convoy had and how well they managed the very few refusals and mini-stucks. Of course, having a second lead like @asifk helps. His ability to slightly alter the track and overall driving style has again impressed me so much. A big thanks for that ! His friend @AviG joined us for the first time and drove very well. You were probably afraid of getting crested and as a result sometimes came over the dune a little too fast, which resulted in the front bumper getting unclipped. Rest assured that the more drives you do with us, the more you’ll find that finesse of pointing the car over a dune with ex actly enough momentum. I hope your lovely daughter is feeling better by now and we will see you all coming back soon. Talking about pointing, our friend @syed salman raza pointed his TJ perfectly over every dune and drove very well ! @Tbone was my center forward and did a great job in communicating and helping out over the radio with members having a refusal. @Janarthan is also finding his way in the Xterra, and drove very good ! The Wranglers did what they usually do, (no, not overheating). @Nacho, @Rajeevan Vickneswaran @Matti Brockman all drove like it was just another drive on the E11. Stunning job guys ! @Jose Martin with the shorty Pajero is a pleasure to see, always calm and composed, always having fun. Time for your Fewbie challenges my friend, you’re totally ready for it. @Mels Wolf must have had time for a cup of tea and Dutch biscuits today. He was flying sweep but didn’t have to fly much. Nevertheless perfectly communicated and always a sharp eye on the convoy makes a sweep even better. Thanks for the support ! Lady Qudra was gentle on us today so we were able to ride some mini ridges, do some sidey’s and still even had time to spot some nice gazelles. Please familiarize yourself with your number so we can easily take off as soon as we are deflated. @asifk will be second lead tomorrow, and having seen him driving over the last couple of weeks, i am sure he will do great. @AviG is our only absolute newbie, and i wish him welcome to the club from my side He can keep a close watch on his buddy Asif who will be in front of him. @Tbone will be center forward, so he is the glue that keeps together moving swiftly and will communicate with me and Mels to relay the needed info. @Mels Wolf will be sweeping, and can test his rope and practice recovery skills. Be aware that Mels can move around within the convoy to assist where needed, and will be your main recovery help. Please arrive on time so by 7:00AM we are deflated and good to go. The restrictions have been lifted which means we can leave the house a bit earlier if needed. We will be using Carnity Channel 2 (446.03125) for our communication, so make sure the frequency is set and you have the other frequencies also in your radio set up so we can move to another frequency if there is too much interference. Make sure you all have flags and radio. Compressor is useful, but optional as we will be exiting on the road nearby the Al Qudra Last Exit ENOC station. Covid19 precautions still apply and we will stay inside our vehicles all the time, except for deflation, inflation, or recoveries. During recoveries only Marshal and assigned sweep are allowed outside the vehicle. See you tomorrow !!

It's actually available for many cars, not only Jeeps. It alters the original signal from the throttle pedal to the ECU, and amplifies this signal to create a kind of "boost" feeling like if you would floor the pedal immediately. (based on the mode you choose of course). Eco mode does the opposite and numbs down your throttle behavior so the car behaves a bit less responsive. I have seen the reviews and tests, but in my opinion Sports mode becomes a bit aggressive for the vehicle, and potentially might damage drive-train components. There is a reason why the original manufacturer tunes the throttle response to the vehicle.

Your photo shows foldable sand tracks, which is not comparable with maxtrax. This is a completely different thing which I can imagine really don’t work in sand. The maxtrax are actually boards, which i agree are not useful when driving with a club or with other vehicles, but are useful when overlanding (alone) on different types of underground. On a flat dune sand underground I agree a bit of shoveling and crawling will do fine too.
