Not yet. But i just run out of momentum while i'm at 6000rpm in 1st gear. Tried with central difflock on the last time and was slightly better, but very marginal. Rear difflock can only be engaged in low gear and is too tricky for climbing a hill as you can seriously damage your diff if you go to fast or if there's too much friction inbetween the rear wheels.

Yes that’s a good remark. Also check if the unit accepts MP3 only or not. You might have other audio formats on that cards like M4a, AAC, Wmv, etc... that the unit is having difficulty with.

@G.huz don't worry buddy, i am pretty sure that the Pathfinder, as it's a very capable offroading machine, has very decent tow points, even though its built on unibody frame. Taking care of below points can definitely minimize the risks involved: 1) Inspect your OEM recovery points (not tie-down points), and see if they are still in good shape (not bent, no severe corrosion). 2) Never exceed 15-20km/h when engaging in a pull or tug. Do several smaller tugs and slowly buildup the force. 3) Using soft shackles is at least less material flying around. 4) Divide the force whenever possible with a bridle configuration. As mentioned before on Carnity, you can install the app called Wreckmaster, which is being used by professional recovery companies to assess the weight involved, based on the angle, weight of the vehicle, and surface resistance. While this gives you merely a number, it will help you to understand the difficulty rating of the recovery. Some examples from the app: * A 2 ton vehicle which is stuck on flat hard grass or gravel only takes 100 kg to tow. * A 2 ton vehicle which is stuck in flat sand with all wheels will take 2000 kg to tow. * A 2 ton vehicle which is stuck in a pocket with its wheels and needs to be pulled upwards on an angle of 20°will need 2667 kg to tow. As the 2003 Pathfinder has a theoretical towing capacity of 5000lbs, or 2267kg, this would mean that the third example is taking more stress than what the vehicle in theory is built for. Of course these are calculations, and there are safety margins on the vehicle, and the kinetic energy also comes into play, but it is imho a good indication to see how far you will need to push your vehicle to do the third scenario.

Adding to this I wonder how we deal with the lower strength of recovery points on a unibody SUV ?

Can you share some details on the unit itself ? Was the wiring done properly ? I mean soldered and not just twisted into each other ? Or is this a plug and play thingy ? Maybe the unit is sending out a distorted signal (too loud) for the headunit and this input goes into safety.

Most people use an industrial webbing sling or slightly shorter recovery strap for this. I have a 5m industrial one that can take 8ton in a loop configuration. (See pics). On the professional brands you’ll need to search for a tree saver strap which is a shorter kind of strap. If you’re not too far for Al quoz, Ramy has them and TORC too. Brands will be ARB, Bubba, etc... The industrial slings can be bought from any hardware trader in Al Quoz. However, as these are made from polyester and don’t stretch too much they might become the weaker link in your setup but that’s maybe not a bad thing.

Brilliant ! makes me remember my father in law who used to see me washing my car every weekend and would look at me saying “will the car go faster now ?” He drove his Ford Sierra for 20years and never washed it, the rain kept it clean. Looking at the flickering behavior, i would say it's the sensor itself or the wiring. I think the sensor order number for a Gen2 Pajero is MD092660, but not completely sure on your model as it's a 3.5 and more rare.

small scratches can be made less visible with some swirl or scratch remover from the shop and applying it yourself. Bigger ones can be done in a detailing shop with a buffing machine, but be aware that you don't actually remove the scratch. You rather brighten up the paint surface so it shines more and makes the scratch less visible.

Few remarks: * DEWA guarantees you a CERTAIN quality of water, which is considered as potable, at the arrival of your home or apartment. But from there it is being stored in tanks and does not fall under their responsibility anymore. Have you ever seen how dirty these storage tanks are ? Who is responsible that they are being cleaned professionally and on time ? Who is responsible for your piping? Definitely not DEWA... I am not saying that there is a short term harmful effect on drinking water that is not perfectly clean, but i still prefer to drink bottled water.
