  1. I have been lucky and blessed so far to have had no serious technical breakdowns in the desert so far. I do remember this one big sidey we did in Liwa where i got a bit too excited and we kept trying to climb higher and higher. The video below shows the sidey which worked out fine, but on my way down my little Pajero suddenly felt like fishtailing a bit, which was a bit of a scary moment and by sheer luck and instinct i was able to steer into it and correct it. The descent however was way too fast, and i realized only later that i got lucky. https://www.instagram.com/p/B-Omvp0h_PG5j_5cWYdTVQa5NoAV2Gb9Ld-eHA0/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link&igsh=MzRlODBiNWFlZA== Since moving over to the Trooper, which is a top-heavy and bouncy off-road thing, i have become a lot more careful. With the Pajero i always felt like i was 100% in control of the car and where to point it, but the Trooper has a mind of its own and is sometimes all over the place. Not fun when you want to ride ridges at massive heights. 😐

  4. We went West, but it seems the West was a bit green 🤣. A great morning out, and always a great laugh, which I like the most about these drives. Everyone drove extremely well today. I marked that weird blowhole in my GPS: we should definitely head back there with a short convoy to make several loops. The original plan was to head further south, but as we faced some delays due to pop outs i decided to stay closer to the Tilal Sweihan area. See you all soon in the sands again !

  6. I am not sure we will be visiting the pond. I am however sure that my Spotify Playlist will be playing the best 90s West-Coast Hiphop

  9. In that case... forget about it... i will bring the Trooper 🟩
  10. Hi @Mike M.! My dreamcar for this adventure would either a Y61 pickup, Toyota 79 Series, or a good old Hilux. If we really want to be under the car every day, then the LR Defender would be the best 😁
