  1. It's a bit Wild West here. Anything that looks like a jerry-can here can be purchased from any place. A lot of them are local made. I personally prefer metal ones. Refueling is indeed no issue at all. Only one time the guy asked me for my EID. Best option to store is outside the vehicle if you have a proper jerrycan holder. Another option is inside the car properly strapped in the boot, but i would only advise this if this is for a couple of hours or 1 day, like a Liwa trip or Desert Challenge
  2. that chime is probably used for other safety related alarms as the poster stated. Another option might be to put a small switch inbetween the chime light, so whenever you hit the highway and plan to drive +120km/h you could disable the chime by flicking that switch.
  3. Fantastic @Asif Hussain we will shout as hard as we can to get your convoy to the maximum scores !
  4. @Zed you’re a force to be reckoned with, and anyone who has driven with you will see the resilience, positive attitude and teamplayer skills that will be key elements of the challenge ! The best of luck !!
  5. Thanks for joining today guys ! The original plan of looping around in the Al Hayer South area was dropped when i came to realize our boys from Abu-Dhabi took 1h45mins and more to reach the meeting point. For us Dubai residents it's a rather short drive so i decided to make our way deeper towards the famous Nahel-Sweihan area. All of you drove superbly, and apart from a couple of nice self-recoveries there was hardly any work to do We succeeded to find Old Lady Dune, but found it scattered with crosstracks and that made the climb less fun than a couple of weeks ago. It felt like 50 clubs went through it in the same morning. @Naveen Raj @Rk ram@Patrick van der Loo@Gary F@Zulfikhar Naiyar@Zed@Kailas@Ahmad Nerat@Anoop Nair@Jona@Karthik_LC200 Enjoy the rest of the weekend and see you all soon in the sand again ! https://www.relive.cc/view/vXvL1g2yK1O
  6. Good morning @Johnno and welcome to Carnity ! We have a fast-track procedure for members like yourself, which will allow you to request a promotion to Fewbie level after doing one Newbie level drive first here in the club. We highly emphasize on safety and hence don't make exceptions on this. You can find the structure below: Once you have completed a Newbie level drive, you can request your promotion to Fewbie level here: Request your offroad promotion See you soon in the sand !

Please find the convoy list for tomorrow morning attached here. We will be using Channel 4 - 446.081Mhz. I would recommend not to bring any passengers along as this will be a fast-paced rollercoaster style of drive if all goes to plan. See you all tomorrow
