  1. Is it a mistake , or am I really "Very Popular" ??? ๐Ÿ˜„๐Ÿ˜€
  2. @Islam Soliman...sorry i forgot to remove myself from the drive attendees list..request you to do the honours
  3. Great mid week stress buster drive @Ale Vallecchiโ€ฆmore than 60 km in 2 hours, non stop without any breaks, all targets achieved as per drive plan !!! The drive put each one of us on our toes , at the summit of concentration, more so with me as the 2nd lead, as I couldnโ€™t afford to even blink, for the fear of losing sight of Aleโ€ฆ. Such was the pace ๐Ÿ˜Šโ€ฆ and thanks to the not so soft sand and our pace, I did the first hour of the drive unknowingly in 2WD , all the while thinking โ€œ why is my car acting funny, why is my rear swaying around , why am I struggling on short climbsโ€ it was only when we got a 10 sec break , I noticed my dashboard was missing the all important light 4WD!!! @Naveen Rajprobably had to deal with a little bit of sand churning by me during this time ๐Ÿ˜€ good to drive with you all again @Santoso Marjuki@Naveen Raj @KAMALIO @Looper @Gregory @Vaibhav @Fabien Monleau @JeromeFJ Until next timeโ€ฆ
  4. I am not joining @Islam Solimanโ€ฆ got called to a work site wee hours in the morning.. typing this from there.. Sad to miss it.. see you next time๐Ÿ˜’
  5. ok...thats quite a differently ordered convoy, with all the patton tanks up front!! not the usual carnity style, right ??
  6. Yes..a tyre themed drive as @Gregory has put it .. thanks to @Pacific and @marks effort, an unexpected puncture on one of my tyres, was sorted pretty fast Thanks to the whole convoy who waited ... it must have been a real test of patience as this happened before we even started ๐Ÿ™‚๐Ÿ™‚ @Islam Soliman - thanks to your beautiful selection of terrain and tracks, i believe all of us enjoyed and had fun to the maximum extent , for the time we were moving Some small tugs here and there and a little bit of shovelling, made the drive complete ๐Ÿ™‚ Lessons learnt - carry a puncture kit and soap solution (@Pacific and @Davie Chase saved the day by lending theirs) , however improbable you think a puncture would be in the desert full of soft sand!! Until we meet next time!!!
  7. Congrats @Looper...getting into some serious stuff ya ๐Ÿ˜‰๐Ÿ˜‰ ?? wish you less of looping around, more of tugging and digging ๐Ÿ˜„๐Ÿ˜€
  8. Unfortunately , i have to bow out of the drive @Foxtrot Oscar and others...removing myself from the event , so that one of the WL can be in .. i was really looking forward to the "Yalla" drive , signed up first , but plans for weekend have changed.
  9. Thanks for the great drive @Hisham Masaad, eventhough we had to cut it short in terms of time, the drive still ticked all boxes in terms of the excitement and thrill expected from an IM drive!! Happy to be of help to Abdelghani, and i hope it was a one off occurrence and he is going to be back with a bang on your next drive , like usual ๐Ÿ‘ The badayer area was "particularly" interesting as me and @Charbel had to race with couple of crazy dune buggie drivers up a dune, in parallel by our sides ...man that was scary .. Many other places had me conquer my inhibitions towards long climbs , sharp turns etc while maintaining the fun factor . Kudos to all fellow drivers , especially those at the back who were brilliant driving through the churned up sand we frontrunners create. Looking forward to the next one, until then .. ๐Ÿ–๏ธ๐Ÿ–๏ธ
  10. thanks for extending the convoy @Hisham Masaad.. In the RSVP screen , i am still on waitlist. I hope this will get corrected ?
  11. Welcome home @Zixuan Huang - Charlie ..congratulations ๐ŸŽŠ ๐Ÿ‘ ๐Ÿ’..see you on IM drives ...looks like you are the lone pathfinder- R51 IM in the club? Any one else ?
  12. @Thomas Varghese, i think there is no going back, @Looper has his own branded T shirt and car stickers now!! The identity is now etched in his soul!!
  13. With me in the convoy, I will not let you reach the 100% ๐Ÿ˜ˆ๐Ÿ˜ˆ๐Ÿ˜œ๐Ÿ˜œ!!! Wow!! What a drive @Ale Vallecchi..with the margham bowls to warm up, followed by some long range and then to finish off with some back breaking, steering work out type , super technical area , reaching the "infamous" chimney as you put it ..thanks for clearing up the mystery behind the "infamy". It was simply awesome, and to borrow @Looper's words - 10/10 intense!! Good to meet @Jorge Stepniak Felippe, @Xavier Treasurer and @siddharth maheshwari Pleasure to join the stalwarts @Ranjan Das, @Alain Canivet-Abikhalil, @Ashok chaturvedi, @Thomas Varghese Looking forward to the next one..
  14. @Ale VallecchiUnfortunately I also need to withdraw..just had a look at the car and seems like an oil leak from the steering oil reservoir..looks like its cracked a bit...not risking it, although it looks minor... Everyone..have fun with the convoy getting shorter!!
