  1. Never thought about where to buy from 🙂... Ras Al Khor - lub shops could be a good place to start with..or your regular car workshop guy can give you some, because they have trolley jacks too...so they must be refilling and servicing them.. or go by suggestions from @Frederic and @Pacific - brake fluid.? I found this , during a general search https://www.amazon.ae/SILVERHOOK-SHRJ1-Silverhook-Hydraulic-Oil/dp/B00AYF83QY/ref=asc_df_B00AYF83QY/?tag=googleshopp09-21&linkCode=df0&hvadid=406701849751&hvpos=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=7813583968020702977&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=c&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=1000013&hvtargid=pla-524089794881&psc=1 something similar should do
  2. Ideally should have enough viscosity, not to leak through the seals. .We use hydraulic oil grade 46 for our cylinder jacks on field
  3. An IM drive after almost a months break from offroading, I was apprehensive whether all the "muscle memory" gained could be recalled, after the gap, but seemed fine !!! Thanks for the nice smooth flowing drive @Ale Vallecchi, we did the whole circle as planned, i hope, climbing slip faces and criss crossing our way , all along covering a 100Km with almost 28Kmph average pace... very minor refusals here and there, and the radio channel waking up mostly for "terrain prompts" from Ale, for a bump here, a bush there etc etc Although the day proved to be slightly unlucky for @Pacific, with a pop out and a flat tyre, it was a fun drive with all of us driving at different positions every 40 min, the unconventional element of the drive from Ale 👍👍..this ensured that we dont slip into our comfort zones , staying alert to adjust to a different driver in front of you, every 40 min, varying from a high alert 2nd lead to a lazy IM sweep Good company @Fabien Monleau - who i seem to share some commonality w.r.t our field of work - ships 😀, @Christian Andras and veteran @Thomas Varghese Until next time 🤘🖐️
  4. Good Going @GauravSoni... Marshaldom is not far from where you are now ...Congrats...!!! Keep up the banter you bring to drives, See you soon on one of your drives.👍👍 And dont confuse me with @Anoop Nair like you always do... 😂😅
  5. Congrats man @Zixuan Huang - Charlie, ready to shoulder greater responsibilities !!
  6. Dont know about europe..but in india, all of them will go at the same time.. dont ask me how!!
  7. Congrats @Davie Chase..well deserved and see you soon on drives!
  8. Yes, we all made it!! @Ale Vallecchi And Thanks for opening up this otherwise "advisor exclusive" recce drive for normal people ...i was just a silent observer to the whole drive as you kept sharing snippets for @varunmehndiratta 's lead coming saturday, which gave me a different perspective of how you guys do the route planning, exit points, choice of different routes based on convoy response etc. It was indeed a welcome re-start for me after almost a month's break , a chill and relaxing fewbie track , a very short convoy - 4 cars to start with and later 3 cars when @GauravSoni had to exit due to a work site call - hope all is ok. All the best to both @varunmehndiratta for his partial lead on Saturday and @GauravSoni for his first independent lead...Go rock the sands!! See you all soon !!
  9. I will join @Ale Vallecchi, ...keen to know how a recce drive goes.. hope the meeting point and time are same as the original drive ??
  10. Congratulations @Pacific Prasanth!! so took the plunge , towards a higher calling !! See you soon
  11. Congrats @Rajiv Sam...finally the right spelling for your name 👍👍😀😀see you on IM drives soon!! Hope your gang follows suit
