  1. @Craig Finlayson a combination of @Foxtrot Oscar and Red Bull is ain’t a good idea bro , if it’s me I would be happy with the adult pampers 🤣 OMG guys just please don’t fly 🤪 wish all full enjoyment 😄
  2. As long as the cables hold I would assume the rubber in between the “ metal blades “ would last. Once the cables ruptured the rubber will crunch like a biscuit in between but at least the sound would be different than the irritating classical squeak 🤣 believe it or not I don’t squeak but I weekly squeeze the sand from in between the leaves by hot steam 😆
  3. Sure Sir , what I meant came out with shovel or rope was necessary ? I like all these photos but most I love the yellow , unfortunately it doesn’t suit all cars like mine , for wrangle and FJC it’s fantastic
  4. Excellent I always believe in the shovel it’s a tool for me before the rope and it works most of the time . The trick is to know where to dig and where not to dig and if not work at least will make the rope a piece of cake 😄
  5. I personally track it on relive and Gaia
  6. Every one here is young and as a matter of fact if I come across some one who claims being old I immediately tell him you should pay the desert a visit on the Carnity way 😍
  7. Thank you 🙏 @Gaurav for the input and I agree with you 100% ...my posting to that wrangler clip never meant I agreed about it . as for me in the crest situation I will always go for the shovel and v cause when it’s done properly it really won’t take than 10 min as you said .
  8. Thank you @Frederic I read all of it ( I did before ) but now read all again and all my doubts if any are so clear . 🙏
  9. Hello desert Wanderers Previously there was a discussion somewhere else in this nice and lovely forum of @Carnity about ropes . I just would like to get this straight . there are basically two kind of ropes and they serve different purpose the first is the snatch or tow rope and it’s stiff and very strong and it’s designed for lifting several tons like in construction or towing a vehicle , hence called tow rope the other type is recovery or kinetic rope and this is the one we use in sand and I say in sand not in wadi or gravel terrain and obviously it’s purpose not to tow but to recover utilising the stored kinetic energy being built during the stretch to recoil along the length of the rope and the rebound effect what brings the bogged vehicle out of the Sandy pit , bowl or pocket . The point is that we let this process to happen smoothly and gradual depending on difficulty of the situation . At times when we are bound of little space we tend to shorten the distance and shortening the length of the rope and I think this has nothing to do with increasing the power of strength as long as it’s one rope and not latterly two separate ropes. please let us know more , I might be wrong !
  10. Double rope recovery Please look below for the comments of @Gaurav bhai which I totally agree with
  11. Actually by using the magic of multiple polys we no longer need the winch any more 🤣😅 ( me and @Ahab Shamaa we can pull ) 🤪
  12. I propose a Suggestion @Frederic for 6th and 7th one as nowadays it can happen that the 4 or even 5 frequencies are on in the same vicinity as our club is expanding exponentially recently with the emerging of new leaders and more comers to Carnity off road club .
  13. Hello friends hold tight please and dear @Ale Vallecchi it would be the pleasure having you back 🙏
  14. Congratulations @Pacific well done hope you enjoy your new level
  15. In addition to Agreeing with @Gaurav and @Rahimdad also No Full insurance as well as No Off road cover for non-GCC species here. unless specifically you know this item and welling for self experimenting with external support who can provide you the part you need , I am afraid to say it’s ain’t worth the effort .
  16. The ABR is the less sophisticated option as for the rear diff locker in Xterra . However for front I have no idea 🤷‍♂️ Regarding diff lock options and which is which is better for which situation I found this link useful
