  1. @Rahimdad, if Angela's doing the teaching, then we're in for a treat 🤣
  2. Congratulations @Chaitanya D on your promotion! I've driven with you twice, and both times, I've thoroughly enjoyed myself and learned a lot from you. @Rahimdad, what are honeymoon dunes? The good Dr. hasn't taught us that yet😀
  3. Congratulations @Salarios on reaching the next level. Enjoy the new challenges:)
  4. Congratulations on your accomplishment @Thomas Varghese! Enjoy the new challenges:)
  5. Congratulations @Abdul Rahman Abdul Kader! Well done. Enjoy the new challenges 😀
  6. Congratulations @Goutam! Well deserved 😀 With Intermediate level, you can't have zip ties on your bumper though 🤣 I hope your new bumper is in. Looking forward to driving with you and your handsome young co-pilot!
  7. @Rahimdad! Hahahahaha 😂 We haven’t been coinciding on many trips, something I’m working on remedying imminently 😀 If with Brette you were reaching home by 1:30 a.m. expect to pitch a tent and have an overnight with me 🤣 Looking forward to driving with @Brette for some relaxation and Zen and with you for some crazy, jaw-dropping maneuvers 💪🏻
  8. Woohoo! @MUHAMMAD Kashif RAZZAQ! I’m very happy for you; well done 😀 A big kudos also goes out to your loyal and persistent co-pilot. Your son is learning so much on these drives, that once he starts off-road driving, he’ll be placed in the advanced level immediately 😀 You’re starting to understand how to get the most out of your “Yellow Beast”, and I believe that she’s rewarding you by helping develop you a solid driving style. @Gaurav, I believe Muhammad should be classified as ‘Fashionable Intermediate’ as he makes every effort to vary his off-road outfits, and most importantly tries to match outfits with his handsome son 😀 I’m looking forward to driving with you in this new level my friend!
  9. @Gaurav, very nice write-up on Brette; I forgot to mention that 😀 And @Brette’s the last one to leave because he’s too polite to tell me to leave him alone with my one thousand and one questions 😂
  10. Woohoo! Congratulations @Brette! I’m very happy for you my friend 😀 I think you’ll make a great Marshal, and that the drives you lead will be very relaxed and Zen, reflecting your demeanor 😀 I’m looking forward to driving with you soon!
  11. Congratulations Captain Ashock 👏🏻 @Ashok chaturvedi, you worked hard and got where you wanted to be. Let’s show them the power of the FJ 💪🏻 This promotion came at an opportune time 😀
  12. Wow! I got excited just reading about the drive 😀 I can only imagine how exhilarating it would be to actually drive it 😀 Great job everyone 💪🏻👏🏻
  13. @Niki Patel, now, I’m starting to worry that @Gaurav has super listening powers 😂 Gaurav, Niki and I have been back and forth about this specific subject for a while now! Very useful information; thank you! Having said that, I’m still gonna go ahead and upgrade my entry level Fox suspension, even at the expense of a stiff back😀 Maybe that’ll give me an excuse to buy a daily driver 🤣
  14. I would like to thank @Luca Palanca Falsini, @Gaurav, @MUHAMMAD Kashif RAZZAQ, @Abdul Rahman, @Abdul Kadar, @Brette, @sertac, @Nivin, @Rahimdad, @Aus Alzubaidi, @Mehmet Volga, @Ale Vallecchi, @Arda Yagcioglu, @Anish S, @Frederic, @Niki Patel, @DANIEL NOGUEIRA, @Athula Dharmadada, @Mohamed Seidam, @Wrangeld, @Goutam, @topgear, @Craig Finlayson, @Foxtrot Oscar, @syed salman raza, @GauravSoni, @Emmanuel, @Rizwan Waheed, @Tariq Carrimjee, @Sajit Modiyil, @Janarthan, @Chaitanya D, @Ashok chaturvedi, @Anand Nataraj, @Yasas Dharmadasa, whose friendship and support, have been instrumental in getting me here today... Sounds like the Oscars, doesn’t it 🤣 When @gaurav posted my ascent to intermediate, I didn’t expect people would chime in and wish me well 😀 Aside from my daughter Maia, who was very proud of my accomplishment BTW, I thought people were indifferent to these promotions. Boy did you guys prove me wrong! Ya’ll overwhelmed me with your messages, and I’m truly grateful and blessed to be surrounded by great people like yourselves. So truly, a big thank you from the bottom of my heart! I’m currently in the US and missing out on all the exciting drives, but hopefully I’ll be with you on the sand real soon. Thanks again for everything 😘
  15. Tow point, mo point; I’m not towing your heavy butt again 😂
  16. Woohoo! Bravo @Anish S! Tu mérites la promotion! Maintenant, la pression est sur @Veedooshee qui se croit aussi capable de conduire que toi 🤣
  17. Hey @Luca Palanca Falsini, I literally left you guys and went straight home to pack my bags for my flight this morning😀 Still on the plane, but thanks to the technology of the company I work for, I’m able to chat with you guys from 40,000 feet in the air 😀 In any event, my rear bumper did become misaligned after the brutal jolt/tug... I guess we’ll find out what the real damage is when I get back to Dubai 😀
  18. Hey @Gaurav, I thought the same thing as you, but I’m not experienced enough to voice my opinion 😀. It looked like a factory tie down point for transport, rather than a function specific tow point...
  19. @Srikumar, you will not believe it until you see the pictures. If I have to describe what happened, I would say the metal just stretched so much and broke off like a piece of taffy! The nuts and bolts holding it together didn’t break. Rather the metal itself stretched to its breaking point... Thank God @Wrangeld had the foresight to double the length of the rope. Otherwise, it could have been ugly as that piece of metal is very heavy.
  20. @Paul Zeitoun, it was incredible! None of the people present at the site, had seen anything like it. @DANIEL NOGUEIRA, please share pics of what happened to the tow point. I didn’t take a picture of it 😀 At the end however, Daniel drove his truck out of the desert in 2 wheel drive mode. How awesome is that? 😍 I just wish @Niki Patel was with us to witness all the craziness (and to see the power our Kaijus pack 💪🏻) I guess the Sushi and Hamburger Gods were smiling down on us that day 😀 @Wrangeld and @Luca Palanca Falsini, thank you so much for the lovely drive and for all you did to help us out 🙏🏻 @Gaurav, thanks for coming back to our convoy to help us with the recovery effort 😀 @MUHAMMAD Kashif RAZZAQ, you and your son are the cool cats of the convoy 😍 Love the matching outfits! @Yasas Dharmadasa and @Athula Dharmadada and Damiru, you are the exemplary family! Always there for each other; helping, shoveling, encouraging. You guys take some cool pictures too (especially when they’re of me 🤪). @Probir Mukherjee, I think you’re on the right path 😀 Thanks for trusting me with the winch; I don’t trust myself 😂 @Goutam, you were my fantastic second lead 🤣 Hopefully, you’ll have the bumper you want on the next drive. @Francois Germishuys, your driving skill and knowledge are impressive. I think you’re an undercover Expert disguising as a Fewbie+ 😂 @Sajit Modiyil, you were so far in the front, I could barely see you. I think you did a great job as a second lead, seeing that we all made it out alive 😀 @Rizwan Waheed, I can’t believe you bro! We were looking forward for some laughs on the sand. I guess we all learned the lesson of the need to being early to these drives 👍🏻 See you all on the sand soon! Brian 😂
  21. ¡Hey @Niki Patel! Happy New Year! I’m in the same boat as you are when it comes to camping. I would love to go on camping trips and learn the art of camping. My wife and 2 kids on the other hand, are a different story 😀 The good news for us is that there are many Carnity members who are seasoned and experienced campers. So Covid permitting 😂, I foresee lots of camping trip in our future 💪🏻
