  1. 😍 @Shehab Alawadhi You should sit with me one day and experience it. My partner Fatima considers it as sailing on the tarmac. By the way as you have been promoted its time to change your name from Shehab to Alawadhi saheb
  2. Its about the driver definitely but a driver cannot drive in thin air. He needs the machine to drive. Its the man and the machine. Mods are different case. If you want mods have them if you open your wallet. In my case my wallet is not big and I can handle my stock car with the level of drives I participate. I don't want a suspension lift as I drive very fast on tarmac and take corners at the maximum speed possible without tipping the car over. In the present condition my sedan can take the exits from the bridges at 120 km/hr whereas my 4 X 4 cannot go beyond 80 km/hr at the exits. I would definitely love a properly fixed snorkel to minimize the sand intrusion into the air filter box of my X. Little bit later as I already broke my wallet paying all the radar fines for renewing my car yesterday. Phew one big headache over. Thank God my family has gone back a couple of days to India so that I don't have to get embarrassed by explaining the money I gift RTA to them.
  3. I'm never against others having fun and would love to see all of the drivers enjoy. But for the 1st drive aspirants the drive RSVP is not yet filled up and they can still join directly.
  4. Maybe you can waitlist me in this for my 2nd drive as morning drive is with you and all I have to do is follow you to the next drive point. I got confused with @Luca Palanca Falsini's drive to be in the afternoon and waitlisted there but realizing the mistake informed and exited myself from that drive. So afternoon is free. Business meetings, drive point meetings are now too much and I get confused.
  5. @Wrangeld sorry got confused with your morning and afternoon drive. Please excuse my earlier comment.
  6. congrats @Shehab Alawadhi. You can use your new tools with authority now.
  7. Absolutely correct @sertac. After every drive in the desert when I open my air filter box of my XTERRA I find substantial amount of sand which has entered the box through the air intake hose fixed at the driver side wheel well especially if you had got stuck and tried to self recover. The major issue with XTERRA air filter box is you cannot close it properly once its opened and has to be done by a mechanic who knows this issue with XTERRA air filter boxes.
  8. Dear @Gaurav, As you have pointed out violations from my end it would be great if you could pin point the violations under which trip lead so that I can avoid them later. I believe I'm entitled for a fair trial and I should be made aware of the accusations against me if fingers are pointed at me by a marshal. You have said repetitive mistakes. Please point the repetitive mistakes in all my drives.
  9. I always love @Foxtrot Oscar's drives. Unfortunately I had to leave due to an emergency. Will see you all soon in the sands.
  10. congrats @Kailas. Looking forward to more drives with you in the lead.
  11. Dear @Srikumar, I agree with you that marshal's feedback is required. I have 1 doubt - if at all during a drive somebody makes a mistake and then continues for another 10 drives or more with other marshal's without any issues does the driver has to join the same marshal for a drive he has done a mistake to correct it? Does it mean the feedback of all the marshal's doesn't count but only the one the driver previously made a mistake?
  12. I wish to join all of @Chaitanya D's drive but tomorrow I'm unable to as my family is travelling back to India on an emergency and I got to drop them at the airport at around 5pm.
  13. 1 stuck was mine as the car in front of me slowed down and I had lost momentum. I knew I had to exit to one side but in previous drives I was reprimanded for losing track so I stayed right where I was, resulting in a crest situation. After Prof. @Ale Vallecchi reassured me that this is what I had to do I was at ease and never got stuck again as I could exit safely as soon as I found the convoy ahead is losing momentum. Thank you @Ale Vallecchi for the right direction.
  14. 1st time in my life I hear I'm awesome. Thanks @varunmehndiratta. All my life I lived for others without expecting even a thanks. Now everybody is surprised why I prefer to be out with you guys whenever I can. I found so many friends here. Simple reason.
  15. Its back to normal. The car over heating issue is not there anymore. Thanks to @Foxtrot Oscar for insisting to exit and take it to a garage.
