Great drive. Great people. Doing my favorite activity at my favorite position of the convoys. CF. I am a keen learner, as is every offroader. Hence, I love teaching others what I've learned over the years and helping out especially in fewbie and under. But you guys handled Sweihan (one of the most demanding areas close to the cities) like pros. We gotta work a bit on our communication and radio discipline (except @Cesar Chacon who was cheating, using his wife as communicator. She deserves a special shout out) Thanks @Emanuel for being a great sweep. Lots of refusals today... but no stucks. I think we guided the lads very nicely every time. Thanks ofcourse to lieutenant Sargent LRDG @Ale Vallecchi for making it possible. See you all next time and enjoy the long weekend. Dig and Claw.

I went for a drive in sweihan Nagrah area up to nahel yesterday with Jerome. I can confirm that you made the right choice in this regarding the tracks. It was hyper active over the last two days. We need some rain!!

Hey Petrol Heads, I have a question to all the Jimny owners for a friend who owns a Jimny. @Rafey Hashmi would be nice to get your take on this, since you are the only Jimny driver i know personally. My friend got offered a nice deal deal on a full set of "twin tube dobinsons shocks" for only 1200 dhs. He doesn't go off-roading and doesn't plan to but said he wants them because they are yellow and look cool. He wants to know how they influence the ride on the road because he doesn't want them to perhaps "stiffen" the ride and make it uncomfortable. Let me know I told him they wont make a difference for use on the road but would be nice to hear it from you guys.

Hey all, apologies again about the inconvenience my little jeep caused today. I hope that at least it was a spectacle watching thunderbird 2 tow me all the way to the starting point and assiting me further on the highway. Luckily, with the little throttle response I had left (18%), allowed me to get the car to a proper garage in Dubai. It turns out, just like Ishak's OBD scan had suggested, that it was due to a weak connection at the throttle positioning sensor. Once a new cable was installed within minutes, the warning lights turned off and the car was back to normal. Thank you to @Gautam Banka in the 392 for pulling out its little JK brother, @Ishak for always being ready to help out with the wrench and the OBD scanner, @Zubail and @JeromeFJ for the towing ropes and the rest of you for being super chill dudes. I hope you enjoyed the second half of the drive as well. I will keep the gear I took from you in the car for when out paths shall cross once more. See you all under some luckier circumstances on another day on the sand. Have a good weekend. Stay safe. Dig and claw.
