  1. @Frederic from my experience , if you drive 20,000 Km+ on your new tires then dont rotate them as it will only cause more issue problems than preventing them . unless you have an AWD . Personally i always make sure to rotate them every 10K as in couple occasions i figured out that i have tire damage during the rotation process. during the studs installation i always ask them not to completely tighten them with the impact gun and leave at least half the turn to be done manual . but i agree with you that its really hard to find a proper tire shops

  7. The only real way to protect your car from sand scratches is by installing a transparent film , 3M have this special protection film, that they will install on the front bumper , headlights, mirrors and half of the bonnet. Another solution you can get from the accessories shops they can creat like a thick leather cover for the entire bonnet , even the lights will have a plastic transparent cover ( in saudi very common) but veryyy noisy on the road .
  8. Oh looks like we are gonna have some real fun tomorrow with such a capable convoy!!!

  12. I personally tried several sunglasses expensive and normal brands , polarised and non polarised. But the ones that i currently use are the ones from Decathlon i dont know the exact model but i have picked then for very high sunlight and polarised, for me it was a game changer . I always felt there are 2 particular timings which are really annoying to drive ( without these sunglases ) . Just at the sun rise due to the sun blasting in my eyes and the second timing is within two hours from sunrise when the light angle reflects on the sand causes a mirage kindof effect which makes it harder to read the sand. Thanks for bringing up this topic
  13. You can find most of the parts in dragon mart i think (AB section)or building materials mall in warsan .

  20. I dont think it will be an easy job to do it yourself as you need to support the engine wheight while replacing them. As an advice change both engine mounts plus the transmission mount all thogether . When the engine mount is broken the transmission mount will have to work extra by holding the weight of the engine as well. This will slash the life span of it. .
  21. Personally i preferer Antarctica boots as they seal really well compared to Decathlon and others , but you the laces is really annoying , my top preference is the Auto lacing system boots which are note really easy to find
  22. The zipper one is not really a good option , as the sand gets in easily. But i have kept a pair in the trunk when i am feeling too lazy ( for short unplanned trips in the desert)..😂
