  1. Sorry to hear that Ale! It will be worth the wait! Have a safe trip, I hope the emergency isn't too stressful!
  2. Telling my friends about this drive, I think I sound a bit like this guy: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hJdF8DJ70Dc
  3. My only regret about attending this drive today is that I’ll be very impatient waiting for the next instalment! Thank you so much @Ale Vallecchi, I’m still buzzing. Thank you @Haitham Khattab for again for your second lead expertise, as well as the tug guided by @JeromeFJ, and to my fellow mid convoy speeder @KAMALIO
  4. Hi @Imran Kashif, these are all showing only as black screens for me, are they loading for you?
  5. Thank you @Rizwanm2 for the great introduction to Fewbie+ level! The unexpected wet sand was a valuable learning experience- thank you and @Gaurav Soni for fixing my pop out! I can imagine how badly churned the sand was for everyone toward the end of the convoy, so well done to all for managing that. As I was behind @Haitham Khattab I had the benefit of seeing his second lead skills first hand- often Haitham would re-route slightly and instinictively when there wasn't time for Rizwan to call back about a sudden obstacle. I really appreciated this as it helped me a lot in this new level on this unfamiliar wet terrain! Catch you all again soon inshallah.
  6. Thank you @Ale Vallecchi, @Vanessa8580 and fellow Prado brother @Rob S for a great first drive back after a summer break, and my first drive in the new Prado! Thank you Ale and @Paolo Pellegrini for the opportunity to do my first recovery (very different to be on the recovering end for once!). Thank you Ale for pointing out so many interesting things- after the camel herd passed us at the brief, we saw a falcon trainer with his birds, a camel grave yard, and some deer in addition to the pristine sands of the Lisaili/Faqa area. The lines got a little more difficult to follow as the sun got higher, meaning we didn't have the shadows to guide us on the light sand of this area. This made a tricky balance between keeping close enough to see the line of the car in front and keeping enough space to safely gather momentum at the right time. Looking forward to it cooling down so we can socialise a little more on breaks. It's great to see you all again!
  7. Apologies, I won’t be able to make it, not feeling so well today. Extra disappointed cos I finally have the new prado!
  8. My apologies, the bank messed up and I might not be able to pick up my new prado today (I’ve already turned in my old one). So dropping out to give WL the opportunity.
  9. @Gerrit Buscan I ask what mount you used for the camera please? You've ruined me, I have to get one now
